To answer your question...And just a quick challenge. Where in the bible does God command to give "seed" money in order to receive a miracle? "Seed" money is not tithes and offering. It is additional money to help move the hand of God.

I actually went to Biblegateway and put in those words, especially in the King James Version and the New American Standard Bible, and there was nothing there.

There are about verses in the Bible with the word "seed" in the Bible, but all of those verses are related to the definition of genetics - heredity. No where is there a reference to seed money.

Now, I have heard a sermon preached from Isaiah 58, convincing his audience that if they seed "$58.00" to this ministry, then your offering will come back to you, doubling your money...or something to that affect, but that chapter is only talking about fasting and having faith in God, expecting miracles in restorations...nothing is noted about "money".

Your very wise to question the scriptures like this, because alot of what is preached...is just plain "man-made" or heresy!!

That is downright disgusting that this fake pastor (sorry) is making up terms to make them sound Biblical... And then use those terms and phrases to wrangle money from the parishioners...

Wonder where the kids fit in all this? Do they see Ron and Hope's deceit? Etc
Also going to his facebook page there are no pictures of her included with the family pictures going back years??

Welcome Amaziah33! I have so enjoyed your posts!!!

He deleted all of those pictures the last week of December. I looked at all of those pictures on one day, and a few days later, decided to go back on...because I was "sleuthing" and all of the photos of Hope had disappeared...all of them, including the ones where she was teaching. I was rather amazed.

Maybe he is a Reptilian. Kidding, but some people really believe in them. Unfortunately, for me, my husband has taken to watching YouTube videos of the Christian end times and some of those believers believe in reptilians and the Illuminati and that is how I heard of Reptilians. Reptilians are believed to have distorted features and eyes so your post reminded me of them!

I dont know who is running this blog, but I love this woman!

i dont listen to ron's sermons, as i find him vile. but i do from time to time read this woman's blog....

"Now that I've announced that I'm gonna fight for my vows, I ain't heard from none of you. None of you. The only two that I have heard from, you ridiculed me. If that's where the leaders' standards are, no wonder the people are so jacked up."

These were Ron Carpenter's words two weeks ago as he defended himself and ripped into all those leaders who had months earlier stood with him when he banished his sinful wife.

Ruth Tucker runs the blog. She is described as an author of many books and a college professor and lecturer.
She also lives in the town where Ron's " church" is ( Greenville S.C.?) but goes to another church, of course.

Ruth tells it like it is. I wish she was Hope's mother or aunt or something. :)

Many people may not know it but facebook pages hve a way for you to track the "likes" on a facebook page and see how they have and how they have risen and fallen. Ron's "likes have plummeted since his big reveal.
https://www.facebook.com/pastorroncarpenter/likes

The week of 2/22-2/28 he was getting 10,000 like a week (I assume for his posts and such).

But the, he dramatically plummeted to only been getting about 500 a week and it has remained flat. Very interesting indeed.

Yet the tracking line for how many people are talking about him has increased (and then leveled off).

I don't think his calling out his preacher friends was a very wise thing to do. Now he is acting holier than thou in comparison to them when it was he who had the supposed 10 years of "living a lie in a horror of a marriage" yet preaching it to his congregation as if he was so blessed with a perfect wife.

Oh Ron, You big a🤬🤬🤬tle you, ya make me wanna :puke:

Sorry...but just to set the record straight...Ruth Tucker lives up in Michigan with her husband. She does not live in Greenville. I've been following her blog too...on a personal level...sending e-mails back and forth.

OOPS, I'm sorry and if I could correct my post I would. She knows an awful lot about what " people around town" are saying about Ron and Hope.. locals. Quite a lot of what she has posted has seemed like first person accounts coming directly from her to me.. Is it possible that she has 2 homes? One up north and one down south?

:floorlaugh: OMG, I am ROFLOL at my stupidly worded post... No, I have absolutely no idea why I phrased the sentence that way. I have read her blog twice during the Ron and Hope fiasco. I have never contacted anyone who owns any blog. I think I meant that it seems that she is posting chatty things, not second hand information, but in retrospect, I'm sure it is info she has received that is usually valid.

I think aliens possessed my brain or something. :ufo: Thank you for catching the error. :loveyou:

Although I do think she is most likely a nice person and more sane in general and about religion specifically than Hope or Ron.

Hmm, if Hope gave all of the money she had to that church then HOW did she pay for daughter in laws new expensive purse? Things that make you go "Hmmmmmm".

Bumping for an update. Has anyone heard anything new? Is Hope at home now,or still away for "treatment"? I have searched and found nothing. The blog someone created is silent also. If he did something, he really is getting away with it.

Update here:

http://www.christianpost.com/news/p...-who-supported-his-desire-for-divorce-114699/

(dated in March)

Hope Carpenter, co-founder of Redemption World Outreach Center in Greenville, S.C., was enthusiastically welcomed back by congregants on Sunday months after her marital infidelities were exposed at the pulpit by her husband, Pastor Ron Carpenter. Carpenter, this time around, took other Christian leaders to task for supporting him when he declared he would be seeking a divorce.
