I looked it up last night, drug and alcohol can be a year (and sex addiction clinics that run concurrent with drug/alcohol programs)

If she had a mental illness that wasn't being treated, who knows?

Some of the best, IMO, drug and alcohol treatment programs that I know of have intensive, residential programs lasting a year or longer. Not including after-carE recommendations. Spin dry doesn't work, IMO, half as well as conscientiously treating the whole person does. I would guess this applies to mental health, eating disorders, gambling, , etc etc.

That said, this %^*# bothers me to no end.

I smell a great big deflection going on.

I'm not a pastor or a pastor's wife. I do however know when smells BAD and this smells real bad. I certainly hope someone in Hope's family has confirmed that she is indeed alive and in a treatment facility. IMOO

Just sitting here and shaking my head......I see a couple of scam artists, not an apostle or pastor. Still, I hope someone has actually talked to her. Reading that article just reinforced my above statement. Looking at him gives me the heebeejeebies....

My gut is not buying it, but I believe in a higher power, and I pray that I am wrong. He slung mud at her, but yet mentioned on his FB, that at one time, he had a problem with . The statement is still there, so it's NOT rumor.

I mean, he's claiming that she has had all of these affairs and isn't involved in ministry the last several years. But, she's active on Twitter as far as the ministry goes. I also found this pic of the 2013 "I Am Woman" conference and that's Hope in the picture.

So was she involved with the ministry or wasn't she????

I know of NO inpatient Psychiatric hospital in Texas which is private ( vs. state facility) that has a " 1 year psych. program". Um, the cost would be astronomical and who would go knowing it is at least one full year? How much confidence can you have that a therapy team will cure your depression or whatever if they want one year up front?
Shades of Hope ( Buffalo Gap, TX ) has a 30-45 day treatment program for eating disorders, depression, etc. and they are exceptional for this length of stay!!

There is SO much wrong with this. The materialism they exhibit in the " Destiny" magazine ( along with her cleavage) is not what I was taught about Christ-like qualities... He put her out there in 2007 as a trophy wife!!

Ohmygosh, I hope she left him and is alive and well. This has my hinky meter zinging. NOT good. Totally implausible.
