The Pentecostal pastor said his wife, Hope, "voluntarily entered a treatment program with tears in her eyes." But she doesn't want to live a tormented life anymore, he added. "And she asked me, would I protect her. And I told her, I would."



Carpenter also referred to criticism that there was perhaps another side of the story. "There is no other side of the story," he stressed. "And she can pick up a form right now… and leave tomorrow… She asked me to represent her. She asked me to speak on her behalf. What has happened this week would have crushed her… Anything else is just a lie."

Wonder if his next announcement will be that she committed suicide. I know the police owe us nothing in the terms of news, but I hope they at least checked on her.

I surely hope she's alive and I hope we can find out, but I am NOT optimistic at this point that we can find out through any official source. HIPAA laws are SO strict regarding Psych., for good reasons.

One thing I do wonder: With R$n sending all his family hither and yon to TX treatment centers ( the concentration on TX also makes me think he has a friend or helper in the " business" getting hugely long stays), has R$n ever been under psychiatric care? I personally think his organization is totally whacked. Just bizarre how people can blindly follow an obvious con man, IMO.

You have a very valid point, IMO. He could be setting the stage for her to " flee" treatment and " commit suicide". I hope not, of course.

The town is Belton, S.C.
Apparently, a few people thought it would be " backwoods" cute to create a name for a street or two and call it " Possum Kingdom".

Therefore, they are not from TX and probably don't have established links to the state. My mistake, and I will correct it. :)

It is also implying, assuming she is in such a treatment facility, that she has no contact with the outside world to see the "news" for herself, yet she is free to sign-out and leave at any time. This is supposed to be regarding a so-called "sex addiction" which reportedly is manifested by "several" affairs during their marriage, yet she speaks in a sermon about sexual relationships between husbands and their wives? If one realized they had such a problem would they preach on the subject of how couples can improve their relationships? Yet she is allegedly living a tormented life. Interesting.

I believe this too!!! MO is she's already dead. That's what I'm going to believe until Police verifies that she is actually alive and well in person. For a so called man of god, he is to quick to talk about divorce..

Ya know, i just discovered a cooler outside outside where hubby had left some meat, and forgotten it over a month ago. Well, let me tell you, it stinks. But NOT as bad as Ron's story on what is going on.
