I wonder how lining Pat's pockets will prevent a Tsunami?

It won't prevent it but it'll weigh him down.... :D

Patty is senile - he's obviously mistaken the Discovery channel for God.

Its amazing to me that ANYONE would send such an obvious fake a single red cent.

It saddens me that little old grandmothers living on a fixed income send this creep and others like him money.

My ex husband swore that God talked to him on the radio every day when he went to work. One day circumstances put me in the ex's pick-up truck driving the same route and sure enough, God started coming through loud and clear when the signal from the Christian station crossed with the easy listening one we usually listened to.

Oh wow Lynie,

I'd never heard of that. Thanks for sharing that info with me.

Hi BhamaMama...When I was little, early 60's we went to Cresent City CA a couple of days after a tsunami or tidal wave hit...the one talked about in an earlier post. I remember stuff everywhere!

In Oregon, all of our coastal towns have to have a tsunami warning system. Evacuation routes are posted on the streets and in hotel rooms. The towns occasionally have drills as well, not where they evacuate the citizens/visitors but the emergency preparedness folks.

It certainly isn't something to be frightened about but instead aware of. Our local news will update the tsunami potential whenever there is an earthquake in the Pacific Rim...

LOL...That's good...and probably very true! Pat Robertson is a NUTBALL.

All that bit about tsunamis and hurricanes - the Discovery channel has been having a great time playing shows about possible worst cases - I really do think that's where he's getting it.

Oh goodie! Now he's saying he can leg press 2000 pounds! I'm not sure who needs mental care more - him, or the people who are believing every word from his mouth and sending him money!

I read that today, Details, and was howling! Can you even imagine him being able to leg press 2000 pounds! Maybe of horse manure, which is what he seems to be peddling these days... but that's about it.

I'll bet the man watches Montel and has heard Sylvia Browns predictions for this year.

Pat Robertson is a d*mned liar:

Robertson Says He Leg-Pressed 2,000 Pounds

Clay Travis of CBS SportsLine.com called the 2,000-pound assertion impossible in a column this week, writing that the leg-press record for football players at Florida State University is 665 pounds less.
"Where in the world did Robertson even find a machine that could hold 2,000 pounds at one time?" Travis asked.
Andy Zucker, a strength-training coach at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, said leg presses of more than 1,000 pounds represent "a Herculean effort, and 2,000 pounds is a whole other story."
"If he was able to lift that much weight, I take my hat off to him, but the numbers suggest that people who lift that much weight are few and far between," Zucker said. "One would have to see what type of leg press it was on and under what parameters it was done."
CBN spokeswoman Angell Vasko said Friday that Robertson was not available for comment because he was "out of pocket" for the long holiday weekend.
Vasko said she has not seen Robertson leg-press 2,000 pounds but that it's not "a huge shocker" that he could.
"Pat is so healthy," she said. "This is something he trained for over an extended period of time. He lives a very healthy, regimented life."

What excuses will he come up with for being 'misinterpreted'?

beggars belief his 'people' would allow this out.

You are probably right BeeBee.

Something that really bothers me is when someone writes in or calls with a physical or mental problem and Pat or his co-host (I can't think of her name), tells that person they are now healed. I wonder just how many of those people stop taking their medication that they need? Can you imagine a psychotic person calling in asking to be healed and being told he/she is healed and that person stops taking the medication that he/she needs to keep from spiraling out of control? Or someone who has heart problems and is told he/she is healed, and stops taking their medication and dies? I wonder if "Line My Pockets Pat" could be sued for wrongful death?

CBN spokeswoman Angell Vasko said Friday that Robertson was not available for comment because "his legs are stuck in his throat."

Hahahahahahahahaha!
