You could be right Sharpar.

Maybe my perception is off because I live in the United States, but when was the last time we saw Paul on the cover of National Enquirer? Blaming the media is a cop out if you ask me.

I was surprised when I heard the media blame in this - for the past year or two, I don't recall hearing that much about THEM...him, periodically, and it was usually good PR, and having to do with a charity, etc. Her, really haven't heard that much since she had the baby. To me, they were pretty low on the radar.

"I wonder: could Heather Mills McCartney become the most despised woman on the planet?"

Nah, not as long as Yoko Ono is alive. And what about Camilla?
   Too funny!!

That's interesting isn't it!! Paul looks so old but he looks like he has had a face lift because his face is as smooth as a baby's butt :D But, to me, he looks a lot older then his 64 years. I will never understand why young women marry old men  I guess we will find out if it is spelled M O N E Y.

I read an article that said they split because of Heather's temper, and that she wanted him to get plastic surgery, and dye his hair!

British law at work - more about the possible outcome of any settlement in case of divorce (which seems likely):

Why Sir Paul's 'genius' could save him millions

But intriguingly, Sir Paul's widely acknowledged creative genius may form the crux of any further legal argument, says Mr Kaufman.
"In the big money cases, especially where there are long marriages, the courts have upheld that instead of going 50/50, if there was a special contribution from one half and that was built up by a uniquely creative element, or genius, the other half would get less than 50%."

This is all so lame really- I mean paul Mccartney is loaded-and if he has to get rid of some of it then who cares-there are bigger things to worry about then these 2 overindulged rich folk..not saying we are lame-but when i think about it-who really cares-his daughter with her deserves her share anyhow-so the price u pay for thinking with your gonads is whatever it is-its not as if he is going to be hurting-he cant spend all of his money and I also recall him as being frugal.

If that's part of the reason; how shallow can you get?

If this is true...shame on her. She should appreciate him for who he is...not what he looks like. I have never understood why a woman wants to marry a man just to change him. If I had ever suggested such a thing to my "older husband" I know it would hurt his feelings so much. Insisting on such things is cruel. No one deserves to be shamed for aging. How superficial! This makes me very sad for him. :( I think he is a cutie. She must be cruel and blind.

I find it hard to believe that a woman who lost her leg and has had to adjust to an artificial one; would be that obsessed with looks and expect her older husband to get plastic surgery.

Weird. But I'll believe just about anything these days. Temper - I would believe that, judging from past articles I've read and interviews on TV.

Exactly! If I was single, it'd be "Hey Paul! (as in I'm available)", and not for his money!!!;)

See, I grew up with the Beatles, I watched them live on TV on the Ed Sullivan Show in the 60's with my sister on our black and white TV. I was a little girl...

Okay LinasK ... but you're going to have to fight me for him! His face may be more wrinkly than what it was before, but hey so is mine.
I have to admit though, his more recent songs are a bit too "sappy" for me. But I can live with that!

Heather is now supposedly in a wheelchair!

Heartbroken Heather back in a wheelchair
By PAUL KENT
20may06

SIR Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills is said to be so heartbroken over her break-up with the rock legend she has suffered a relapse that has put her back in a wheelchair.

The animal rights activist is recovering from corrective surgery after a metal plate in her pelvis which connects to her false leg shifted four weeks ago.

"We're very worried about her," a friend told a British newspaper. "She's at a very low ebb both emotionally and physically. She is unable to walk and is in a wheelchair.

"She is in so much pain. She's in a very low place."

Since Sir Paul told Ms Mills he wanted a divorce, the pair has remained cordial, intent on doing what is best for their toddler daughter, Beatrice.

Friends, however, fear that if they fail to reach a custody agreement, things could turn nasty. Sources close to the Beatle say he is "determined" to be the one who raises their two-year-old daughter. Ms Mills, 38, who is caring for her, is just as keen to bring up Beatrice her own way.
Sounds like there could be a nasty custody battle if Paul wants to raise Beatrice. Of course, this is probably tabloid news so who knows if it's true.

Boy - this article cuts to the quick about the Mills-McCartney absolute mismatch!

"How fascinating that "having time with my husband" is ranked second in her list of pastimes."

Sounds like she's jealous of him, and wanted him to fit her mold. That's weird about no friends, though. At his age I wouldn't blame him for wanting a quiet life at home with his new daughter.

She bragged about their sex life, and how "he couldn't believe his good fortune"?; she's a piece of work.
