Officers at INTERPOL’s General Secretariat in Lyon, France and around the world are pursuing leads provided by members of the public in response to its global appeal to identify an unknown man pictured in a series of child sexual abuse images.
More than 250 leads of potential names, locations and photographs of the unidentified suspect have been received by INTERPOL. Information passed on by the public and police officers to INTERPOL National Central Bureaus in its 186 member countries are also being forwarded to the General Secretariat. (more at link)

This shows the good sense that Interpol and other international agencies are showing in releasing those images.

You are right...it should not have taken them so long to catch him. The internet is a positive tool especially in cases like this which cover such a broad worldwide base.

I want to know more about this guy. Where has he lived? What did he do for a job/jobs? What contacts has he had with children in the states? They said he wasn't a registered sex offender in NJ, but has he ever been suspected before? I want answers.

ETA: He was named as Wayne Corliss, 58, an American actor who goes by the stage name of Casey Wane. (Why couldn't the AP have posted that information?! UK press seems to be the only ones who picked up on it.)

Thank goodness. Well, I can't find anything he did professionally as an actor under that name right now. Casey Wane? Nope. Searching for Wayne Corliss the only place comes up is Union City, New Jersey. That's with the middle initial "N" for Nelson. There's other people by that name in Jersey around the same age with a different middle initial. My heart breaks for those kids. Little too late for them, but at least now he can't hurt anymore kids directly. What he did in the past two years Lord only knows. Autumn, thank you for the update.
