Hmmm....

I think the jury should show JA the same mercy she showed Travis!

Because I don't want to refresh often, I'm unable to thank many of you (dang that Thanks button!). So please consider yourself thanked.

I wonder if Daryl will show his face today?

Final mitigator: Arias suffered abuse as a child and as an adult. #jodiarias

  • #806
Ms. Arias will speak!

Is this a good move or not? IDK.

Did anyone REALLY think she WOULDN'T get up in front of the world one more time?!?

  • #807
Mercy and leniency? She deserves the same mercy and leniency she afforded to Travis. Disgusting.

  • #808
OMG he's gonna go over these again?????

She has 8... And Travis has 30 wounds!!!!!

Ugggghhhh did just say a mitigating factor was having a drivers license??????

  • #809
Oh we will hear about JA's life before TA. Hmm... I'm sure that's relevant.

Don't you know? It is Travis's fault that she became obsessed with him, stalked him and killed him. After all, she didn't do that to any of her other boyfriends.

  • #810
Good friends...she had NONE!

  • #811
Seriously, is this guy being paid? He is not at all convinced that they shouldnt just pull the plug on her, I can tell.

  • #812
I don't think Donavan's shirt is bright enough...

8 mitigating factors given, including "defendant is a talented artist." Is that enough to keep her off death row? #JodiArias

  • #814
Oh Patti who hadn't seen Jodi for 10 years until she started hitting the news.

  • #815
Sounds like Arias will speak
We could potentially see her present an "info-mercial" about her fundraising work on behalf of domestic violence/abused women. JA not letting go of her victim role-despite the jury's flat out rejection of her lies.

Judge reports (verbatim) to the jury the following mitigating circumstances proposed

1. Defendant was 27 years old at the time of the offense
2. Defendant has no prior criminal history
3. Defendant was a good friend
4. Defendant lacked support from her family
5. Defendant suffered abuse and neglect as a child and as an adult
6. Defendant tried to make the best of her life
7. Defendant consistently tried to improve herself
8. Defendant is a talented artist

They are not limited to these mitigating factors...

That's all they got, huh?
:floorlaugh:

Can the jury ask questions at this stage?

  • #818
This is seriously icing on the cake. LWOP or Death penalty, she's been found guilty and will never be free.

  • #819
She's going to speak! :floorlaugh: I thought she WANTED to die! :floorlaugh:

Who knows.. what she's going to say??

She apparently doesn't tell her DT her plans..

I wouldn't be surprised Nurmi trying to save her a$$ she don't get up & say please I beg you for mercy send me to my true love Travis give me the needle.. turn to the side flip hair back smile & say cheese!

Ugh - I thought TA's fam would get to go first?? Her "people" could go on forever!
