Thank You! So glad we are up and running again!

Whatever happens I hope the judge doesn't give her 25...

The jury can vote for "life" then the judge is the one who decides whether that will be LWOP or 25-life w/chance of parole at 25 years. The sentencing for life would take place in 30=60 days, if death, she gets sentenced and transported to her cement box today.

BBM. Yeah, 30 - 60 more days if they vote life....because why rush things? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

So to sum up FJA's allocution: Keep me alive for the purpose of harvesting my hair to donate. Pfffffffffffft

Give her death and donate her organs! (Yes, I know that isn't allowed from my understanding, but still...)

Happy Websleuths is back!!

I almost---ALMOST---felt sorry for JA. Seemed she just had nothin worth keeping her alive......and don't you think as such a great artist she could have done much better than that T-Shirt.

Whatever it is it is. I thought Nurmi had a lot of guts saying the "court" just ran amuck and allowed this trial to be a fiasco of major proportions due to an out of control judge and prosecutor. OUCH! Hope he does not have another case in front of JSS.

And she designed that t-shirt!

I am suspicious that there might be some sort of incentive program for the convicts if they participate in the hair donation program. Perhaps they get good behavior points or a free haircut with styling....

I think for safety reasons they told her she had to cut her hair and the hairdresser suggested donating the hair to Locks. Her hair is not short now so I don't see how she has done this 3 times since she has been in jail.

i honestly thought she would get LWOP until that crazy selfish statement in court - she sunk herself - especially showing that t shirt - wth!

  • #1,388
Darn, I expected fireworks from the convict. I would like to send her a note talking about what an absolute failure her 'presentation' was, how disappointing....prosaic, common, and not terribly bright. Ha!

WS is back AND a verdict watch. Win!

  • #1,390
Just now on HLN JVM. Wilmont threw JA's parents under the bus during closing. Yet they are the one reason the jury may sympathize to vote for LWOP. Now how does that make sense?

I absolutely don't understand this

I for one would like some of Jodi's hair to finish my voodoo doll of her, it's the only thing that's missing.

No way I could sleep if that hair were in my house. CREEPY

I'm just thinking the jury may come back today. If they go back there and do a quick poll, and all say death, why not?

When she held up the Survivor shirt I was done. If I was on that jury I would throw the book at her based on her blatant refusal to admit the truth

Yeah, to me it sounds like she's saying she is the survivor of her killing of Travis?

And she designed that t-shirt!

I wonder if the jury wonders if she designed the other shirt and panties, as well??? Probably was not the brightest move on defense's part. If she truly had PTSD I'd think the last thing she be creating would be a t-shirt.

(Thought I got banned!!)

Her hair was below her waist a couple months before trial? And she's donated to Locks of Love3 times? One of us will expose that one. :)

Sheriff Joe probably makes them donate it or it's the jail that donates it.

My opinion: there are plenty of A) people to donate hair B) people to teach Spanish and ASL C) Crappy artists---WHO HAVEN'T BRUTALLY BUTCHERED ANOTHER HUMAN BEING. I think we can manage without her, thanks. What a joke.

LOL! "Keep me alive, I grow hair.". That was the best!

:floorlaugh: She wishes ... :floorlaugh:

:twocents: Speaking of her "presentation" today, all those BS comments by JA as to "why" her life should be saved and that she would :

- Donate her hair to -- I forgot the name of the cause ...

- Teach inmates to speak Spanish ...

- Work for Domestic Violence "victims" ...

- Blah blah blah ... blah blah blah ...

She reminded me of one those contestants in a beauty pageant, like the Ms A Pageant -- NOT someone who was trying to save her life from the Death Penalty !

I waiting for her to that she was for "world peace" ... and that she would "save the whales" ... blah blah blah ...

:waitasec: The only thing missing was a designer gown, heels, hair and make-up ... oh, and that dude that sings "here she comes ... Ms ... "

Seriously ... it was a BS performance by JA full of lies ... the only thing she has managed to do in :jail: is connive and cause trouble !

:twocents:

Every time Willmott mentioned CMJA could contribute to society from within jail, I got the creeps. Like those horror movies where the hand reaches up out of the grave to grab at the victim one more time.

So did that mitigation specialist woman write that speech for the killer to read/perform?

If I heard right, she claims she has already donated 3 times to Locks of Love. Now keep in mind that they do NOT accept bleached hair, including hair that is colored over bleached hair (and I am pretty darn sure there is no "colored over bleached hair so you could go slaughter your ex" exception.) So, for as long as she has been incarcerated, I'm very skeptical that she has been able to grow the processed hair completely out, donate the 10inch hair minimum 3x's over, and still keep long hair over the whole time of incarceration, even up to today. Seriously…

...but hey, maybe there is a Disney issue with her. Snow White... now Rapunzel... :)

not to mention that hair only grows 6 inches a year,on average......yep, another JA LIE to add to the list .
