I do not believe this judge would EVER sentence her to LWP. Nope, no way. So IMHO the 'best' she can hope for is LWOP. And those who think she'll be let out or will somehow escape to randomly kill people are just watching too many movies. She will be in maximum security.

Does AZ elect their judges?
I find it hard to believe she could be re-elected if she gave CM LWP.

What's sad is that Arias just said that the Jury betrayed her, and she sits in there today with make-up and no glasses. She also demanded make-up for this interview spree she is going on. If she gets out she might go after a Juror. If i was a family member of a Juror i would be tempted to give them the heads up of what is going on--that she tried to 'dupe and manipulate you and it's still going on'. Also, many Death Penalty cases are knocked down to life with no parole--at least she can't get out with the Death Penalty.

Also--it's the first time i have been disappointed with this jury, not on their impasse so far, but that they all said they could vote for the death penalty when they signed on-- and came out just two hours later and said they are at an impasse.

The jurors did not say that.

Not to mention all the manipulation she can cause from prison....if given LWP. Scary to even imagine.

You bet. She will have long arms from prison and never go away. Look at that tweet nonsense and the still unsolved break-in at Dr Demarte's home.

When the jurors get a load of this nonsense, how will they feel, if they agree to life in prison ?

She will be a martyr for any imagined cause for DV survivors.

Just my opinion... but that was too quick for a hung jury... that's why I believe it was a "what if" question and not a "matter of fact".

Does anyone know...has any jury in the past that was sent back to deliberate after telling the judge they couldn't agree on a verdict - come back with the DP?

It's unlikely that they will agree. And it's certainly unlikely they will compromise on death. If they do compromise it's likely that it will be life, if they agree at all. But my guess is that it's going to end up being hung.

But I could be wrong, in fact I sincerely hope I am.

well, i believe talking about it and doing it are two very different things for some people. i can say it would be easy for me to give her death, but i'm not on the jury!!

and juries can do what they want. they can nullify----they can just do what they feel and not even follow the law. they CAN do that. the OJ jury certainly did.

they may agree on something. we just don't know. but what i DON'T want is some juror calling KN next week and saying they got strong-armed into voting for the DP and now they regret it.

trust me. we do NOT want that.

They did not say that. The question was IF we can not agree, NOT that We can't agree.

This jury has done an amazing job so far. I can not say I won't be disappointed in a Life verdict but I will not be disappointed in them. They have hung in there this whole time. But if they vote for LIFE, And then get out and watch these crazy videos.. They will be sick.. I am pretty sure.

Really it doesn't surprise me.......criminals have more rights than anyone these days. It's easy to get caught up in all the details and lies I suppose but when it comes down to it who cares if her life has value, she took a life in an especially cruel way. So who cares......she doesn't deserve to live

Ok.. I know this is O/T esp today but for those mentioning London Terrorist Attack..

I just caught some info on FOX News (only one that I saw reporting on this) of an amature video of an alleged 'religious' attacker still holding the butcher knife & hatchet? just before police arrived on scene. He & another alleged attacker were shot at by police before capture. The victim a British soldier near barracks in the I believe Woolrich area of London..
