Couple of jokes about Dottie on twitter - whether she was going to literally wear "blinders" on the stand, or whether her testimony would be "I know nothing. I saw nothing. I hear nothing" like Sergeant Schultz* on Hogan's Heroes.

*her nickname is "Sarge" after all . . .

I guess that hoping she does the right thing on the stand is the equivalent of George Clooney showing up to take me out to dinner, right?

Argh, just hoping that this jury does the right thing by these young men. It's always on my mind, how many more are out there...

I think, because of Dottie's frail appearance, the prosecution needs to soft step it a tad... If the sight of her can elicit some pity from me (as I want to see her held accountable in a big way), she certainly would strike the jurors, who have probably seen her dozens of times over the years, as someone who has also been victimized, not necessarily complicit.

Omg, this hasn't been easy on Dottie-- I'd say she's lost about 25 lbs since the first of the year. She may even be sick, as we saw with JoePa-- stress like this is a wildfire of devastation for the immune system. jmo

On Fox, a reporter just said that Dottie did exactly what I predicted she would do.

She said the basement was not sound proofed, and she never heard any screams, ' and my hearing is just fine.'

She also told her own version of that time she reportedly walked in on her husband and a boy in a bathroom in a hotel. She said on the stand that they were both wearing clothing, and they were arguing about going to an award luncheon in the hotel. YEAH< SURE, Dottie.

IMO - defense trying to appeal to the jury's pity for DS going through so much that it's made her sick?...what about the boys who have been made sick, physically and mentally?
