Good question. Some jurisdictions allow for Saturday deliberations. I've yet to see any Court that allows deliberations on a Sunday though.

The announcement that a verdict had been reached in the Sandusky case WAS up on CNN's site just briefly. I think someone made a booboo.

I swear I got an e-mail alert from CNN and when it popped up, it said verdict in the Sandusky trial. But, when I just went to my Outlook to read it, it said the priest case. Seriously, how is that possible?

I have no wine this afternoon but I am refreshing this page and CNN like a monkey on crack.

I wonder if the jury is focused on the McQueary testimony because they were already able to reach verdicts (guilty, of course!) on the counts relating to the other victims and is hung up on the counts for victim 2 since he has never been identified. I hope that they will ultimately decide on justice for victim 2: I have grave fears for his well-being.

I love it! Did anyone else notice when she was supposed to be covering the prosecutions closing arguments and she came out and was asked what the best points were she replied it was the victims sitting in the front row and nothing about what the DA said? They had to come back to her later and ask again for the DAs close.
