Maybe, since Matt came forward, they're working out a plea deal. Perhaps Pennsylvania will agree not to go forward with a case about Matt if Jerry pleads to this case.

Only if the plea includes LIFE WOP and allocation to every single charge and public apologies, and charges against Sargent Dot. I know I'm asking a lot. But his a$$ needs to be nailed to the wall. Actually his weenie does.

Well, that is sad. If they aquit for Joe, then they need to shut the doors of Penn State.

A better solution would be to convict as a tribute to Joe. To show that Penn State grads and fans won't tolerate this crap and leave a dirty mark on a fantastic university.

I don't think they will convict on victim 2. They will on most of the others. IMO.

My bad guys-I assumed that Matt had been legally adopted.

He has, but not until he turned 18-- which struck me as waaaay weird when I first heard it, and it's still something I really wonder about.

Now that we know Matt was one of his victims (who started with The Second Mile when he was the tender age of 7)... it makes me wonder if Matt grew up to be a ruthless negotiator? Can't have me as a child (legally), but you pick up the tab... then when I turn 18 you pay for my college via your benefits and you add me to your estate. Or else?

Kind of like he sued and won, on his own terms? Is that possible??? If so, I'm even more proud of him.

Not only that he doesn't believe he has done anything wrong. He helped many and the "chosen ones" were "showered" with love and attention. Pun intended :banghead:
