My aunt was friends with her when they were teenagers and when I was little my aunt showed me Penny's signature in her high school yearbook.

I remember playing Laverne and Shirley with my best friend when we were little and her always making me be Shirley. No one wanted to be Shirley. Everyone wanted to be Laverne.
