Two Romanian pensioners needed medical treatment after they started fighting over a TV remote control. Gheorghe Botezatu, 85, and 73-year-old Victor Gavrilas live in an old folk's home in the town of Roman.
Dr Lidia Mihailovii, head of the home, told Monitorul de Neamt newspaper: "They've always been one against the other.
"Most of the times they quarrel about the TV, one of them wants to watch the news and the other a movie or something else. This time they hit each other with their walking sticks."
The younger man needed surgery after he had his nose broke and both needed treatment for bumps and bruises.
The 85-year-old has been warned that he could be sent home for being a repeat troublemaker.
The man, who can hardly breath due to his lung condition, was also been caught smuggling in alcohol and trying to have sex with women residents.
