Doesn' that just break your heart? I believe that these law men
are livid that JY isn't cooperating and that fact is making them that more
determine to find out who did this awful crime.

In my view there is no reasonable explanation for JY not to talk with the police, other then him being involved in some manner.

It may take much time, but I firmly believe they will catch who did this.

Well I'm extremely disappointed! I thought there might be more snippets of info from her friends/family...but I think they are keeping it all quiet because they know LE is on the right track.

Thanks for the info, everyone. I went to buy some Pedialyte and of course, searched for the People Mag. They had two different issues and neither one was the MY issue!!! Now maybe I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

Any interesting pictures that we haven't seen? Any news about Cassidy's relationship with the Fishers and whether they've seen her lately or not?

TIA!:blowkiss:

The article is shown in this WRAL.com slideshow. Most of the pics, we've seen before. If you right-click and zoom in, you might be able to read the article. Have some aspirin handy if you try.

Hi BarnGoddess. Yes, the flu. I started last Sunday. Then one child became sick each night till last night. Then my youngest threw up again this morning after being well since Tues morning. She's better now.

My husband got the flu shot a month ago and he's been sick the longest. :silenced:

   If I use any more Lysol or Clorox my house is going to disappear!

Thanks for asking, and stay well!

Hi Taximom - sorry you're all under the weather at home :blowkiss: Gosh, I laughed at that line, above! Must be global climate changes - many here have caught the bug! Wishing you all "Get Better Soon" thoughts.

Thanks for posting this thread - interesting, esp as we don't get NE of PEOPLE.

Hmmm... I still feel the 'business trip' was a last minute, unplanned cold call to back up his sudden 'dash' from committing the crime (if the appointment was real at all).

Also, I read Fox was going to cover this tween 10:30 and 11 pm in last couple of days???

:(

Scandi (& Bee's response) ... I so agree with your posts. And yes, also agree Meredith would have been the ideal person to talk to Cassidy. It irritates me JY had Xmas and NYear celebrating when he couldn't even answer one question to LE or MY's family. Wonder how MM is feeling about herself and her actions, choices and integrity these days? I mean ... adultery is bad enough... but.... her best friend!?

Beggars belief...

Honestly hon I don't think she gives a hoot that it was her best friend. She didn't care then and she ain't gonna care now. But I do bet she's feeling like shyte because Michelle's gone but I reckon if Michelle was still alive she'd be carrying on business as usual.

You're right! And .... in fact, stretching this thought - I'd go so far as to venture (IMO) that someone like this has to be either really, really ignorant - OR - borders on some type of Narcissism: cutting off the emotional and social consequences and obligations in pursuit of meeting her own goals. Personally, I do not believe these fundamental characters change at all. I believe they made be made AWARE - but I don't believe they change as it's inherent - intertwined in their DNA. (As in it's all about ME; how I feel; MY needs.)

The two are an integral part of ONE. Like ... if you're pregnant, you don't remove the belly, leave it on a shelf and carry on life as normal until the baby is ready.

I know, odd metaphor, lol. Put it down to my LemSip and fizzy vits.... but ya kno wot I is meaning, right? ;)

Basically MM exposed her true grit, IMO.

In the article it said that Meredith was asked by JY to fetch a receipt for a purse that JY planned to give MY as a gift. This is very odd to me. First of all I think most women buy/pick out their own handbags. Second of all she would know how much it costs. My husband wouldn't have a clue what kind of handbag to buy me. I handle the finances, pay the bills and so on. I would also know the price of the handbag. This is the most fishy excuse I have heard.

I sort of agree, but I know there are people out there that make detailed lists of what type of gift they'd like, especially for men if they don't have a clue how to shop. (ahem, no personal experience here! lol)

I think the timing of the "gift" is what is especially strange, as their anniversary had passed, and Christmas was too far away (IMO) to be shopping for the wife.

Then again, I think the timing is perfect if JY wanted someone else to find his dead wife while making it look like he cared for her by buying something for her.

I'm just thinking about how this receipt came to be. Jason was presumably in VA, or some place like that, the morning that Michelle was found. Did he go into a shop, buy the purse and then have the receipt faxed? Did he go online between his business meeting and driving to his parent's house to order the purse? That just seems like a funny thing to do between an out of town business meeting and heading for a parent visit. Why was it so important to order the purse on that morning while out of town knowing that the receipt would be faxed. In fact, I would bet that while ordering online there would have been an option to have the receipt mailed. It really is just too fishy. One of the obvious questions the police have for Jason is why he made that purchase when he did and why he elected to have the receipt faxed.

Which is exactly why the coward won't talk to police, right?! That whole thing is fishy, isn't it....

I haven't purchased much through the internet except through ebay or amazon but I've never had a receipt sent somewhere-or even printed one off. So the whole thing is strange to me. Confirmation of the purchase usually goes right to my email account.

I agree it is a good excuse to have MF go to the house. Who would want to ruin someones surprise gift from a loving husband, cough, cough? My husband doesn't even notice that I have a new purse, they all look the same to him as I have several. I just don't buy this lame excuse.

PS... I asked my husband if he thought my shoes matched my purse ok, he said yeah. He really wouldn't want to pick one out for me and that is ok by me.LOL

You are quite right. Even airline tiickets are confirmed via email. It's so typical of guys that think they've planned the perfect murder. They always get one little detail all wrong by under-estimating people. He probably thought that people aren't computer savvy, so having a receipt faxed may seem normal. It's anything but normal. I wonder what the company has to say about it. Do we know what kind of purse it was or where it was purchased? I'm thinking that we could go online and have a look at the purchasing options. I'm sure the police have looked into all of this and it has only caused them to be more suspicious than ever.

My husband just gets me gift cards now. I know he still loves me (some people equate gift cards as a thoughtless gift), but he just has terrible taste. (Sorry, hon.)

Our local newspaper once had a "worst-dressed" contest and I almost entered him, but I knew he'd win and that would probably be embarrassing to him! We've had long discussions about how teal and green aren't the same thing, and shouldn't be worn at the same time! (cringing)

Maybe Jason was different. :silenced:

He had to find some way of getting Meredith over there to find Michelle, right? What are some other options if you did the crime and needed someone to find her before you came home?

I guess we still don't know if he knew if MY was to be at work or not that day, do we?

I'm with you on the purse. This did cross my mind when I heard about this because I think it's a standard rule too - never buy a purse for a woman. That is unless it's pointed out specifically. It's a very personal item. My sister-in-law bought one for me years ago and I was actually offended.

CTV insiders are saying it was a Coach purse.

Also, about the purse - seems it was a bit too early for a Christmas gift (what man buys a Christmas present on line the beginning of Nov.Their anniversary had past and she wasn't having a birthday.

It would have made more sense, and less contrived, if he had called Meredith and said that he'd tried to reach Michelle at work, at home and on her cell phone but couldn't reach her ... so would she mind popping over to the house to make sure everything was okay. The only way this would seem unusual is if he rarely checked with Michelle when he was out of town.
