People Magazine - Caylee Anthony's Family Secrets

  • #101
The brother went rogue a long time ago. It was apparent in his emails to Cindy - begging her to stop the nonsense with the nanny stuff and get on board with the fact Caylee was dead. Casey was ....

I'm sure he loves his sister, but I wouldn't need a bro that loved me that way for sure. so many things he could have done without drinking the koolaide.

If anyone has a right to tell the story IMO It is Cindy and George. They are the ones who have been torn apart by the media and gossip. Its their lives that have been forever changed by the actions of their daughter.I dont think People magazine should do a story like this without naming sources.Seems like they are turning into a supermarket rag.

They have been telling the story, since day 31, nobody is buying it.
I can't imagine anyone in that house giving an accurate account of their real lives.

Shame on People magazine and their unnamed but no doubt handsomely paid "source". What purpose does this article serve other than to kick George when he's already down?

I agree. My gosh, I'm not a fan of Cindy that's for sure, but this is flat out horrific. Those poor Grandparents have gone through more than anyone should go through in a lifetime. I would say boycott the magazine, but I'm not sure If I'll have the willpower not to buy it. So sorry....

If I had a sister that acted like Cindy does.....I would be telling the world what I knew. Don't you guys think this is killing her mom? She told her months ago to get out of the media she was looking like a fool. Maybe the rest of the family wants everyone to know they are not as loopy as Cindy is.

ITA to go public in forums was unforgivable, thats not a way to love your family.A brother like him I would not talk to either.

Drinking the koolaide:waitasec::waitasec: He's the only one that seems to be on planet Earth... I think you have it mixed up:waitasec:

You may not need a brother like that if you are a Cindyite, but I would take him any day compared to the Moonies that are under her ether!

Well, even tho you are right about it having been yet another witness that has sold his/her story, I just have to say that I do not believe any witness should make media statements. OR even write in a blog for that matter.

I do just have to say that when RP was writing in a blog, he had no idea he would even be a witness in this case. He lives in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and had not seen the Anthony's since his wedding according to him, IIRC.

I give RP a pass on this one. At least the People Magazine did not name him as a source although a part sounds like him, IMO. The others who sold their stories were named.

ITA...NO witnesses should be talking to media.

The "NEW" witness list the media claimed just came out, was dated Dec. 3rd IIRC......anyway names were added weeks ago.

No I am not mixed up. I said he would not have to drink the kool aide.

It seems to me her mother wanted Cindy to stay out of the media because woman her age do not air their lives on tv.How could anyone who has not been involved with his sister life in years possibly know anything about whats going on in their lives?

He said he knows somethings that went on because his MOTHER told him. Besides that. he grew up with her....he more than likely knows her personality pretty well.

It's quite obvious that the news traveled from Cindy to her Mom to Rick and vice versa.

bold by me: family gossip; CA tells her mom, mom then tells RP and whoever else. SP emails and/or phones her sister. Who know what info got passed and how it was passed. By the time RP hears the story, it has probably be diluted or expanded many times fold.

From experience, when family members don't want other members to know their business, they cut off communication. Doesn't matter who did it, it was done.

His mother put her own spin on things like all mothers do IMO.He knows her well as a child not a grown woman. He was not around her family enough to know what goes on IMO

Maybe the way RP communicated and delivered his thoughts and advice to CA wouldn't have been how most of us would have handled the situation, but if he didn't care or love Cindy, he wouldn't have reached out to her and tried to help her at all. He would have just left it alone and gone on his own way. He was obviously frustrated with her nonsense and the fact that she had been taking up for KC - WHO STOLE FROM HIS MOTHER AND FATHER. I don't blame him one bit for being upset and a bit irrate. Maybe I wouldn't have communicated it like RP, but I can't fault him for how HE handled it. It's his life - his relationship with HIS family, and not for me to JUDGE. I truly believe his heart was in the right place. He was upset, he felt had to get tough with Cindy - she wasn't listening to him! I'd MUCH rather have someone get tough with me to get me to see the light, than someone who is going to sugar coat it and let me get away with my nonsense and stupidity. Rick was trying to HELP Cindy. He wasn't being ugly to her for the sake of being UGLY. I'd take his tough love over an enabler ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

This thread isn't about Rick!!! We don't even know if he had anything to do with the article.

I, for one, would rather just wonder about their home life until such facts are released through court docs, if even deemed necessary. I know there's alot of naysayers out there, but what about if GA is innocent of all and everything? Then it might not be worth taking a chance at a broken man in the hospital trying to get his head together or until he can become strong again...if even he ever was. I won't be buying People magazine, sorry. I also wonder what kind of person would sell out his or her family in the midst of such extreme chaos. While I do think CA's bro is very knowledgable as to the goings on in this family, I don't agree with this being released at this precise moment in time. There very well could be a man's sanity at stake. I don't need People magazine to inform me the dysfunction with this family. I'd wager that both GA and CA were born this way ... heck, probably raised to be this way! Doesn't take a rocket scientist to come to that conclusion! Shame on People magazine!

George's side of the family???:waitasec: NOT Cindy:waitasec::eek::waitasec:

With all due respect, are you serious? In the last doc dump alone, the fact that Cindy allows KC to speak to George as she does, & tells her co-workers this, speaks volumes!.....like mother.....like daughter/

George is where he is for many reasons, & one of them is CA:eek:

Why would I not be serious? That statement I posted sounded like it came from George's side and not Cindy's brother like most people think it might be. Why would RP care if Cindy berated George in front of friends and called him stupid. I don't think RP cares much for George. Sounds to me whomever is saying that is chastising Cindy for constantly berating George..hence it would come from his side of the family or his friends and not Cindy's brother.
