Not so. Anyone can call LE and ask them to do a welfare check on a minor--you can be a neighbor and say "I haven't seen the little one for a week and am concerned" and the parent has to produce the child.

How can Cindy call LE for a 'welfare check', when she has no address to send them to ???......& remember Casey was also saying they were out of town.

Am I the only one curious about why the labels on the pill bottles found in the trash were removed and when they were removed?

If he was really trying to kell himself wouldn't it be harder to save him if they didn't know what he had taken.

Whew ... thought it might be time to invest in a new hinky meter.

No. Your hinky meter is picking up just fine. I still have mine hooked up and that sucker is pinging towards Florida big time! I thought it was very nice for Websleuths to send it as part of the WebSleuther Kit. Also helpful was the extra needles for when the meter goes berzerk! Did you order the satellite dish for pin point accuracy?

snipped

I really don't think that either Cindy or George created Casey. I think she created them. The stresses of living with a sociopath are indescribable--they very much shape the behavior of those enduring it.

Removing Casey from either parent would not have changed the outcome in terms of her character. She is flawed, she is disordered.

The pathology in the Anthony family is a function of this character disorder, not vice versa.

It's said "Children Learn What They Live" but, I'd be inclined to believe that, that may be how it started but, during KC's teens...it reversed.

My 90+ year old Grandmother went missing from where she was living with a relative - went to lunch with another relative and they didn't come back - we're talking weeks. She called now and then and said she was fine but wouldn't say where she was. We called LE and they put out, I guess it was APB so if they showed up at her bank branches etc LE would be notified. They did and LE was called and we found her.
Point is that LE could have and would have done something

Yes, I would imagine so but then again, why leave any trace evidence at all. Just seems odd that one would bother to remove the label.

George's side of the family???:waitasec: NOT Cindy:waitasec::eek::waitasec:

With all due respect, are you serious? In the last doc dump alone, the fact that Cindy allows KC to speak to George as she does, & tells her co-workers this, speaks volumes!.....like mother.....like daughter/

George is where he is for many reasons, & one of them is CA:eek:

Bolding is mine-
You dont give the man much credit, do you? If KC is arguing with him, isnt it his responsibility to put her in her place? Why should CA have to step in to save the day? He is a grown man who i'm sure is quite capable of fending for himself in a dispute with his own daughter. JMO

No. I remove my labels because I don't want any trash diver finding them and filling any remaining 'scripts I may have on them.

But if you're trying to off yourself you're not gonna need any remaining 'script.

LE had their cars when they found George. They may have given him the choice of riding in the car or waiting for an ambulance.
BTW, I would discount police sources leaking information. It has already been discussed on the boards that the prosecution and police are deliberately leaking information that may or may not be misleading. It's disgusting.

He loves his younger sis, and wants her out from under KC's malignant influence.

IMO, he's pi##ed! This is called revenge- for his sister not listening to him, and then shutting him out.
I dont blame him for becoming increasingly frustrated with CA's denial, but selling pics, posting personal information online, and possibly selling his story to a mag is not brotherly love.

Jujube,

Would you happen to have a link to the thread (s) or recall where this was...

Thx

How do you figure George is the healthier of the two??? It's been said he put his own father through a plate glass window; he gambled his house away; cheated on his wife; would fly into rages with the reporters/protesters; and just recently attempted suicide. Oh, it has also been said George may have S/Aed KC per JG. This is healthier than a woman who worked her butt off for her family and kept a beautiful, clean home for them? I've read she was quite the cook, too, while George sat on his duff watching cooking shows hoping to learn something.

I was turned off on George when he had the Police lie to his son. I thought he was being a sneak in his interview when he had the Police call Lee and say his father was on his way to meet them when he was already there. I can only imagine how Lee and Cindy felt when they read that!

I can't believe how hard some women here have been on Cindy. Wow!!!

I totally agree! Also, George was blaming his mistruths on Cindy and seemed to be making himself to be somewhat of a henpecked victim. Cindy has had to be strong and work hard to take care of the whole family, apparently even her parents. I thought from the beginning that Cindy acted like an abused woman and I still think so. A good narcissist can fool others into thinking it's all someone else's fault. Neither one of Casey's parents may have caused her to become a narcissist, but if it did happen, I think everyone is being fooled and looking at the wrong one.

Yes, they would have. Glad your grandmother was ok.

I worked for a magazine, to remain annonymous...no it was NOT people. This article has probably been in the works for several WEEKS, possibly even months. I honestly don't think it was placed into publication at the precise time GA is in the hospital. Heck, the proofing/editing and printing stage takes weeks in and of itself. Not to mention, who knows when the mysterious source went to the mag to begin with. It's all a process and I think the timing is not great, but I don't think they said "hey he's in the hospital, lets release the article to get him while he's down". Unfortunately everyone is free game in the eyes of the media, it's America. Unfortunately the media isn't only there when the A's want to vent or bad mouth someone. Media is a two way street, and if you can't take the heat then you need NOT be in the kitchen. JMO.

At the risk of sounding rude and callous... this whole family appears to be quite dysfunctional. My guess is relations between Cindy and her brother have not always been perfect. Maybe he took tough love overboard, maybe he phrased things inappropriately, but it did seem like he was trying to get Cindy to smell the roses . I have no doubt there are years of hurt, animosity, misunderstanding, anger resentment and a bit of love...I am not sure Cindy has been the esiest sister to get along with

I feel mean for saying this but it is what I think...

My thoughts on Cindy and Rick? Had Casey not ended up being nailed for murder and she were allowed 20 more years or whatever to screw around and continue stealing money from Lee and his friends.. and God knows what else- I suspect Lee would wind up treating Casey in a manner much like Rick treated Cindy in those emails.

lol. i was thinking something like that and then i scrolled down and saw you'd posted it. :)

For what it's worth to the anti-Georgers:
I think the majority of info we get about how Cindy was over-worked and financially strapped because George never worked etc etc, is coming from Shirley P's emails.
I think it's important to consider that Shirley P probably got all of her information, either directly for indirectly, from her daughter, Cindy. I don't think it strains the mind to imagine that some of Cindy's claims could have been exaggerated re: George.

Ya know, and it's not like I'm sitting here giving George a "get out of jail free" card. I can see that he had a hand in creating the dysfunction in that home but sicker then cindy? naw.
