That is so good to hear that nobody bought the Richie issue. I mean who gives a hoot about her and all of Hollywood for that matter. Richie is boring and nothing but an immoral slob just like the rest of 'em in Tinseltown. Her pics aren't worth 6 cents as far as I am concerned.
The JC story is about as real as it gets, no show biz, nothing phony about it. I hope she gets millions and millions of $$$. She deserves it for what she went through for the last 18 years.
I too am happy that the Nicole Richie issue didn't sell.. I guess I am just tired of the same old worn out hollywood star types selling their photos of their kids for money(when the already have lots of money) I find her boring as well.
I am completely happy for whatever money Jaycee and her family can get. I do hope they become millionaires. This is a rare case where I just think they deserve everything they can get.
Hard to believe that not only did Jaycee not go beyond the 5th grade but she doesn't even know how to drive a car I presume. There is so much for her to catch up on.
I actually think that years from now when Jaycee's kids are grown and out of the house that even if Jaycee has enough money not to work... I bet she surprises people and will work doing whatever it is her passion is.
It seems Carl Probyn has finally been able to visit Jaycee. I had been concerned by his silence. Didn't want to think he was kicked to the curb. Nice article

You know, I never could find a copy of the Jaycee Photo people. Of course I saw her pictures everywhere else, but I would have liked to read the story. They must have sent it to the big cities first and sold out, because it was NEVER on our stores shelves, I asked. They carried the prior week's issue and also a special Country issue and then a special something else issue (I can't remember). Now the Nicole Ritchie one is there. I'd say the media is underestimating the interest in this case "big time".
Thanks for posting this. I didn't think he would be kicked to the curb...because he has mentioned that he has stayed close with Terry.
I just figured he would be able to see Jaycee when the therapists give the ok.
I guess they will slowly introduce other relatives and friends as they see fit.
They probaby have to go slow in introducing males back into their lives as well.
I am happy for Carl though.

Thank you, methinks! This is a sweet article. Carl deserves all the happiness he can find. He's been through so much and his love for Terry and Jaycee shows by his selfless actions. I love how hard he's trying to understand.

I didn't find the article from your link, but thanks for that bit of news anyway! I was so hoping Carl would get to reunite with Jaycee, as he's been unfairly bashed and his marriage suffered all these years thanks to Garrido!!!:razz:

Maybe we can be hopeful then that Carl and Terry can eventually patch things up and mend their relationship and once more be a family with Shayna and Jaycee and the girls. After all, they are grandparents now...:angel:

Good for them! To me this signifies progress in the healing process for this family. Another giant step FORWARD.
I do hope the girls can learn to be more comfortable in social situations. I'm sure with JC as their guide, they will.
What a solid woman JC is. Carl says, "Jaycee is the one who is helping all of us through this ordeal. She was an amazing little girl, and now she's an amazing young woman and mother." After reading this part, I realized that amazing barely describes what JC is. I don't think words even exist that can describe her wonderful spirit.
According to Carl's mother, Wilma, who has kept in close touch with Terry, they have all done things as a group and had vacations together over the years. So clearly there is no friction or hostility between Terry and Carl. Which is something good for Shayna's sake. If there were such hostility I don't think Carl would ever have seen Jaycee in a family context. Which is something good for them all.
This is wonderful news! methinks, thanks for posting. Carl and Jaycee's reunion was long overdue.

Just speculation on my part, but I believe most of what happened between Carl and Terry had to do with Terry's relatives, and their persistant accusations against him. He's said previously that he wants nothing to do with them.
this is withoot a doubt the best NE story on jaycee.
carl saying that jaycee "gives us all strength' is what i like the best. it makes my own 'rose colored glasses' comments justified
here's hoping that some miracle (another one0 takes place and carl and terry and shayna and jaycee become a family again........
