Hi Madeleine...two other things came to my mind:
-during the 911 call, its reported that John shouts " we were not talking to you'..
most of us have assumed that this was directed to Burke..maybe it was...but maybe it was directed to mr Kidnapper ... burke's voice in the background may be a coincidence, nothing more..

-after the murder, it was Patsy who was loosing the plot and and being too nervous/ dramatic etc..John, in contrast, was cool as a cucumber..He did not plan the fake kidnapping..he did not physically stage the crime either ..all he did was keep hush hush about it... in his eyes... he is the "least guilty " out of the three..
one might ask, why would John cover up for Patsy?? ofcourse, he may have been abusing JB for a while...if he opened his mouth, Patsy might spill the beans and accuse him of being involved in the fake kidnapping... just my :twocents:

I asked around but didn't got an answer yet....is it 100% that it's Burke's voice?Maybe it's someone elses,I thought about it as well!

And I always found the cooler one more suspicious. The drama queen is a drama queen just to mud the waters IMO.

By the way, this theory of "MR Fake Kidnapper"could be replaced with "Mr Big Fish with Connections and a Close Friend Of The Ramseys." Maybe they have promised a well-known public / religious figure to visit them on xmas night to 'bless" JonBenet...and then almost ALL of the above is applicable (again)..
Except that, in this theory, John would be more of an accomplice, as he probably planned this visit with his wife (?????)
and what's this thing about the Ramseys being part of a cult..whats that all about? How much truth is in there??? Maybe the head of the cult was invited that night to be with JB ...

Reminds me of PR telling us in DOI about her "healing service".....dunno about you guys, but I find these things....a bit bizarre...........

me too,and that she'd said she'd seen a nurse who looked just like JR's late daughter..like she had helped heal her.
per Christianity, even the Saints can only intervene via intercession by prayer;given that his daughter was not one,I found it odd she would even say that.she surely did not live in the real world.

I agree. Madeleine. She seems to be only one step away from thinking she can communicate with God the way we communicate with one another. This would be interpreted alarmingly by psychiatrists. I guess this aspect informs the theory of some PDI that JBR was some sort of religious sacrifice, perhaps to thank God for sparing her or perhaps to induce God's future clemency towards her. Even the notion of Beth helping her supports this theory since she would argue that in killing JBR they were sending her to eternal life. I can't say as I subscribe to this theory but I do think religion would have been a massive part of their attempted defence had they been prosecuted.

Certainly, rabidly religious people justify terrorism on religious grounds - in fact, many will claim that God is directing them or that God has exempted them from any real culpability since He supports their cause. It's not much of a stretch to see a person using this rationale to justify their actions on a smaller scale...

The voice revealed when the tape was enhanced was said to be a child's voice. JB was already dead, BR was the remaining child in the home. Was it ever PROVEN to be BR? No. The RST has denied it, though later admitting BR was awake after all. BR himself admitted being awake and "hearing sounds) and pretending to be asleep in his room.

Thanks.Maybe it was Burke but it could have been someone else.I often wondered, hey, maybe something happened and they even called the doc over but it was too late.Maybe they had some of the friends over,JR saying there were many people in the basement at 3.Dunno.....

I have been a PDI for a very long time, but here is where I have to come to Patsy's defense. As a Christian (Baptist), not all believe that saints have to intervene for healing. The bible says that if there is sickness to call on the elders of the church to annoint with oil the head of the stricken and then to have a special prayer. This can be done in a special service or (as at my church) toward the end of a regular service. It would, in my opinion, be reaching to believe that this statement meant that the Ramsey's were part of a cult. Just wanted to put this out there because I realize that not everyone would be aware of all Christian denomination's practices. I'm not even sure if the Ramsey's were Baptist or not, but this would explain her term "healing service".

I think it's such a big risk to invite a secret lover into your own home on X'mas night, when the rest of the family is there...

But this is what makes it so fun for Ms. Santa and I by the Xmas tree! :blushing:

I have watched Patsy's final interview (in Hawaii). i find it odd that she says that she's accepted that she'd soon be joining ALL THE FUN PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE... Beth, JonBenet...she was talking like she's already found closure...she didnt say that she wishes JonBenet was still on this earth a bit longer etc ..nothing of the sort...she doesnt talk angrily about the killer...doesnt show any lingering pain..nothing...if that is not suspicious, then please tell me- WHAT IS???!!!

I know for a fact that I would be fuming with anger and pain if I had a terminal illness (God forbid!) and knew that I only have months to live and still not know who has killed my darling precious daughter. If anything, I would look straight at the camera and send the killer(s) one final message or statement...you know...maybe something along the lines of : my daughter didnt get earthly justice but she will in the Hereafter ...(since Patsy was a devout Christian)...

Maybe she did find closure cause she was dying and she will never have to face anything about what happen to JonBenet....So in the end she won and no one on earth can ever touch her but in the end of all she had to do face the final judge....

Hi Ravyn... are u PDI or JDI?

  • #37
Right now I'm looking at both cause in the end it's both....But I'm looking more at the one alive cause though him we might find the truth somewhere but kind of hard to go after PR....

But really in this case PR actions could had meant plenty different things like for one with her dying and let say JR did kill JonBenet then he would not have PR no more...And with her covering the murder she knew that now the LE might be more looking into JR's doings in this case...But like I just posted it could mean just simply I won I was never caught....

I agree;we have kids as a part of us that lives on, and it's surely a pain that never ends when they die before us.
sounds like much hadn't changed in her mind, since her rambling interview on CNN yrs earlier, and stating reasons JB was better off dead..'she'll never have to know cancer ..the death of a child .. etc'.

It fits in with the "better off dead" incident, doesn't it?

Also, I think she knew she was dying. People have asked, "why didn't she confess if she knew?" Well, maybe she didn't know how anymore. By that point she'd run such a long race, she was just determined to go to the finish line.
