Unfortunately, I don't believe they would be a match based on the prothesis. I requested a copy of the Brecksville John Doe's autopsy report and both ankles and feet were recovered.

That's awesome. I mean having his autopsy results. Btw I'm leaning towards The Catskills as an option. Because of Crip Camp, summer camp for disabled people. Started in 1971 using an existing camp ground.

The more I'm looking at this picture the more I think the legs/jeans belong to someone else- Maybe someone holding him up upside down? The legs/knees(?) look way too straight to be someone doing a backbend, IMO.

Posted something like this years ago but I think Photobucket deleted it. I not only see the beginnings of a swell of breasts at the edge of the frame, but the shadows on one arm confirm that the parts out of the frame continue the pattern.

Besides the view we have been studying for years, we have an additional angle projected on that arm. The sun is shining from the upper right, slightly out front of the subject. The shadow on the arm has a perspective-flattened profile of the face, the nose, slightly parted lips, the chin, the neck, and a good bit more of the chest than is directly visible.

In " thread called "Profile Girl Against Green Wall' I now think this person hanging, and dead is "Wilma June Nissen. No, I do not think this girl against the green wall is Wilma. Profile In the Iowa site says that Wilma had arrest records out in California where I assummed she had met Alcala before, and he went out to Iowa to maybe meet her or visa versa. One site says RA had addresses on the back of some pics, and that at least 2 of the photos had dead people photographed.

Can you please tell me more about this? Wilma was my biological mother. Thank you!

When you turn the image upside down you see someone with their arms upwardly outstretched. Hair is growing in the armpits which meaning the person could be male or female. We don't see a nose or any lips. We see someone with their eyes open looking upward which if they are hanging upside down means they are looking towards the ground, probably because they have gone beyond the point of watching the person who has put them in that position. The person has downward shaped eyebrows, they don't have a natural arch like many people do, so that eliminates quite a few people. I realize this was the 1970s when many women didn't shave their legs or armpits or shape their eyebrows, the natural look was in but it still doesn't alter the fact that there are several different eyebrow shapes that are normal growth patterns. We also see the neck of this person, where the skin is stretched from the area of the Adam's apple to what would be the tip of the chin. I believe the person has their mouth slightly open from exhaustion, they are beyond fear, judging by the distance from the area between the eyes and where the bottom of the chin is. There are two different kinds of anatomy when it comes to the neck. One is a clearly defined shape that follows the jawline from the bottom of the chin to where the jawbone meets the neck. The second one is a less clearly defined jawline where an extra pad of skin/fat hides the jawline. Both are genetic. The second group of people are usually those who end up with a turkey neck when laxity sets in, for want of a better descriptor.

I still think it's male and we're seeing the pecs. Furthermore and most importantly the person was missing the lower left leg.

You know this person has haunted me for years, getting a larger monitor did not make it better. I've always thought that was blood, its too straight to be. If you look at the rest of the hair it has brittle ends and you know split ends... It's not perfectly straight. I'm not sure how far back I have to go to find a photo that works. But this person who I believe to be a woman and Helmet Girl, is at the end of their endurance. it's a horrifying picture to me sweater girl is another 1. and the girl in the yellow bikini is another 1. the blonde stewardess who was in a white blouse in 1. picture and green in another picture She bothers me too And the girl on the carpet I guess they all do. God I wish that man had told the truth...

It haunts me, I don't look at most cases except our own missing children case Jack and Lilly Sullivan here in Pictou County NS, and Alcalas. I just feel the need to identify these poor women and boys/men.

The idea that there were thousands of photos that were too disturbing for the public to view combined with the fact that a select few were released, may suggest that many of the unidentified women seen in the photos are likely to be already known as deceased by the police.
It therefore becomes more a matter of identification, rather than trying to decipher each woman's individual fate.

In other words, it's likely that the fate of some of the women caught in the photographs that have been released to the public, may already appear as deceased in other photographs that have not been released.

It would be interesting to determine how many women from all of the photos released to the public, have actually been proven to NOT be deceased.

It would then be a case of separating the women into different categories; those confirmed definitively to have NOT been one of his victims, and those who remain unaccounted for.

I also believe that the woman in this photo is also in another photo that was taken shortly beforehand.

There is a woman seen close to a tree and foliage doing what appears to be a naked pose whereby she is holding her right leg up and straight at an angle to her frame that is facing in the opposite direction. A pose that would be familiar with a gymnast, a dancer, a martial artist, or someone with a degree of flexibility who could use an open rotation of their hips to extend their leg up, back, and then adjacent to their upper frame.

I believe that the "backbend" photo is the same woman who is earlier performing the leg extension.

Judging by her countenance, her eyes, and the redness on her throat and upper chest, it appears that the "backbend" woman is in significant distress. She may have even been choked out and then brought back by Alcala just before the "backbend" shot is taken.

If that's indeed the case, then it would seem that this woman was a murder victim.

I don't think I know the photo you're talking about, probably not in the list of the main 110 made public.

As I flipped through those again, I got reminded how these two always make me sad, because of the genuine joy of the girls (bicycles photo, sand hills photo). I hope none of them ended up as any sort of victims, but I guess they had a reason for asking to ID some and not the others.

This “backbender” may be “helmet girl” who may be a person frequently seen at concerts and other events in the northeast when Alcala was there. If so, she was alive a few years ago.

It's all been linked before, so might as well see what everyone thinks. Here's a cropped version of the girl dancing at a concert in 1970 and Helmet Girl, cropped and rotated from one of the familiar set. If it's a match, she's still alive.
