EverythingLubbock.com met with Carla’s father, Carlos Valpeoz, on Thursday who said he’s been working with the U.S. Embassy and police in Lima, but the holdup has been with the district attorney in Peru.

According to Carlos, the D.A. hadn’t provided access to information from accounts on Carla’s phone, like Facebook and WhatsApp, which could have helped in the search for more information.
