I can't imagine the horror going through Beth and Daves minds right now. How Natalee may have died.

I've been thinking the same thing all afternoon.

For all we know, Natalee may have died at Joran's place and that's why a new mattress was delivered there.

ITA. I seriously doubt that Joran even recognized it was the 5th anniversary that he murdered Natalee.

It's possible. I just can't wrap my head around him deserting his truck 19 blocks away and then crossing into Chile on a bus. If he were planning to kill a female on the anniversary - I'd expect him to plan it better. But you're theory makes sense too - a 'well thought out murder gone wrong'.

Ricardo Flores said that police found his daughter's car about 50 blocks from the hotel, and that inside, they found pills like those used in date rape cases.

I think that he truly has enjoyed his infamous reputation and right now he is on an adrenaline high planning on his next move to evade capture. This is a "thumbing of the nose" to the world because he fooled LE and got by with murder. I think that his arrogance and cockiness will be his downfall and very shortly too.

Natalie's case was one of the first that I have followed on-line. Ah, yes, Julia Renfro. She is the reason that I had to go on blood pressure medicine. She is truly a fan of Joran's. You would think that Aruban authorities and this reporter would want to hide their heads in shame at this moment.
