oops, didn't catch that you were trying to get this done in time for noon report.

May not hurt to do a follow up email, if you're so inclined or if there's anything suggested that you think she should be told.

Again, those that are outraged about the collection of "blood money" by the AF, you'd probably be very interested in following the donations threads. The latest, #8, is here:

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72698

I have been following the donation thread, you all are doing such awesome work! I just don't know where to begin to help you, so I read and try and follow along. Kudos to all here that are trying so hard for Caylee!

It's a great group of people; feel free to jump right in. I guarantee you'll be welcomed. Any thought, observation, whatever. Positions always open for cheerleaders and devil's advocates. (And since it seems I'm the one most often putting a pin in the balloons of others, I could sure use the help on the 2nd one.) :)

It's good to know you're following along. Just knowing other WS members support the efforts is a great thing. Thanks.

1 more for 5200...lol
But only 104 signatures today..

5206 now. No worries; sounds like you've got Kathi hooked. Your first draft paragraph, with the other additions would likely have drawn anyone in. More publicity will get more traffic. And, don't know if you've noticed, but there's starting to be some 'regulars' on the thread, keeping it going here. Seems like just about every day lately, another WS member or two sign it and likely refer others.

I am thrilled you took the task upon yourself to get this all going. We're all so very cautious with our info, with good reason, and yet over 5200 people put their names and addresses on that petition already. That is SOOOO impressive.

Ya' done good, kid. :)

And so did the WS team.

Go TEAM!

yes go team!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)

What a great sig line, Samijeansg! And a homicide indictment is also priceless. :)

Wish those people could figure out a child is priceless too and stop trying to sell her.

How much you wanna bet our petition is in the "media coverage" notebook she was carrying into JB's office??

We have officially gone global... Today signatures from the UK and Norway.....

Wondeful!! See? More and more from here; also getting spread around to other forums, I'll bet. :)

Hope KB makes note of the globalization. :)

I posted this in the donations but think others may be interested in it:

http://www.local6.com/news/17662297/detail.html

ETA: Headline: State Seeks Homicide Charge Against Mom Of Missing Caylee

Article on Local6 website, including inter alia:

"Air samples taken from the trunk of the car indicated a dead body was present, investigators said. Cadaver dogs also alerted on the car, according to investigators.

In addition, FBI results showed that a hair sample taken from the trunk of the car likely belonged to Caylee, Local 6 News reported. High levels of chloroform were also found inside the trunk, according to the report."

Also including in list of links, same page, inter alia:

WEB SITE: Help Find Caylee
WEB SITE: MySpace Page

My comment:

Do these people not read their own reporting? Do they not see the conflict including those links on the same page as the above info?

Ok, I'll answer my own question: Apparently not.

If anyone would like to do the math for them, here's their contact info:

http://www.local6.com/contact/

Can't hurt to put in a plug for the petition site, so here's the address if you want to include it, to show over 5300 people and counting have already put their names and addresses on it:

I just posted it on Orlando's Craigslist. in the Rants and Raves section. There are a ton of people there who would sign.

Anyone else who reads this post to craiglist too.

Since it will be on lifetime -- cuz I'm assuming a petition will not stop them from making this movie --

then I can see Casey played by Michele Greene

Not to be disagreeable, but I strongly disagree. Public outrage has stopped bigger and more important projects than this. IF they decide to go forward, despite their immediate denials, expect litigation over it. Even if the litigation is unsuccessful, that should tie things up long enough for other networks that didn't pay the Anthony family to get their versions up first, making the lifetime one worthless.

And then there's those pesky Son of Sam laws...

And I really don't think it's going to make a whit of difference who in that family collected the check. NONE. Or if they "cleverly" laundered it through another entity --- state attorney will likely go back and get anything that's been paid to them and put liens on everything they have, including their house despite the homestead laws, to cover anything already received and spent.

But I'm hoping that lifetime caught on a lot more quickly than the petition did, and nixed this deal before anything was paid. Their denials were very strong, I thought, to then turn around and put something out.

5385; almost to 5400. C'mon, folks, let's get there!

Almost missed your post. What a TERRIFIC idea! Please, everyone, post the link everywhere you can think to post it, including Craig's list.

Also, while you're at Craig's list, I'd appreciate it if you'd check to see if they're trying to sell their swag there. It makes me ill that anyone would try to sell the memory of a child like that, with t-shirts and wristbands. imo, they're cheapening her memory and destroying/conflicting any relationship they ever had with her.

Just 3 more signatures to hit 5400... we can do it!

What will that put us at for the day, dcorrigano? 150, 175?

It will take a month to hit goal at that rate. Let's all try to find at least one other place to post this petition link, even if it means we have to sign up for another forum. (To just make that one post, of course.)

Here's the link again:

We can do it!
