Photo Adjustment Thread - "Wheel Well/Trunk Evidence"

  • #21
Okay guys, here's what i came up with when I super-imposed the pic of the teddybear from Caylee's Easter picture onto the picture of LE removing the "mystery" item. I have included the actual size and then blown it up. The square is the super-imposed teddybear, which I have converted to Sepia tone, flipped horizontally, and faded so it can be seen how well it fits. Obviously, there are factors as to how it the "mystery" item was held and turned, so who knows? But all I had to do was flip the teddy bear horizontally (strangely enough I didn't have to put in a custom rotation in my image editing program) and it fit perfectly.

They already released that it was a gun.........
Wow, really? Thanks, I hadn't heard that. I can't believe she wasn't wearing gloves!! Still wondering what was in her other arm (or if that was her elbow - looks too bumpy to be an elbow to me).

I think it is a teddy bear gun with a dress.:)

Hi SieSie thank you for all your help!
LOL, Beaner, you're so silly!!
:blowkiss: How are you, my friend?

Wanted to add, I do think that is a mag light (or flashlight) in her right hand (notice how her fingers and thumb indicate it's her right hand). In the left hand is a "mystery" object and I don't believe it's her elbow. I think her hand and arm/elbow are blocked behind the brown bag. Which brings me to ask what's in the brown bag? It appears to have an item(s) in it as the top is folded down and the bag appears to have indentations.

What people are possibly seeing - some see an elbow, others see a stuffed animal – some see a rope, others think it’s her badge. What do you see?

StuffedAnimal_Elbow_Questio.jpg

Ok the left ?? marks are her top forearm

the right ?? marks are her hand

The badge?? I believe is a design on her shirt?

I think I seen a second pic (in another thread here at WS) with the lady CSI that showed she had a glove on her left hand but not the right hand. Which would be consistent with the fact she had a mag light in her right hand and was handling evidence with her left hand.

sure doesn't look like an elbow to me. you can even see the stitches that form the paw(?) of the stuffed animal

Thanks for the link, whiteangora and momof6!! I'm still curious if it's her elbow or a stuffed animal in her other arm, though.

Thanks for your pics, Tabby - interesting!!! I really thought it was the teddy bear upside down - I think we're seeing it's head, not legs, but that's just mo.

irishbosoxfan - can you resize your pic, it's blowing the margins. Thanks! I can see how some would think it's an elbow in the original picture, but when it's blown up and enhanced, it just looks too "bumpy" to me. I also think her elbow would be up a little higher, hidden behind the bag - again, JMO!

Original Caylee Easter Pic (note stuffed animal in right arm)

Look at that precious baby with her little bare feet. So heart-breaking...

Yep agree 100%!

looks like a bear to me, not an elbow. great work, guys!

how could she hold the bag and the two objects with one hand and an elbow in that position??
Clearly not an elbow unless her arms are deformed.

Looks like a stuffed Teddy Bear's foot and its paw pad to me.

Great job! (and photoshop skills!)

it also looks like it is too low to be an elbow, unless she has monkey arms

I agree - when it's blown up, what others are seeing as her elbow and forearm are waaaaay too "bumpy". It's all black/grey behind her, why so many different colors if it's all her arm?? What's the red dot? I think it's the stuffed animal's nose.

I can see how the "string/badge" thing could easily be a design on her shirt, as irishbosoxfan mentioned earlier.

Hi SieSie:blowkiss: The gun could have easily been put inside a stuffed animal or a case of some sort or a cloth that would match the enhancements.

thanks for all your work SS.

News 13 has learned a gun was taken from the home of the grandparents of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony early Saturday morning.

Thank you - we're still questioning what's in her other arm, or if it's just her arm.

I've gotta get off of here for a bit - this case can be so consuming and I have to force myself to do other things. Ciao for now, e1 - have a great day!
