I HOPE there are a lot of parents on the jury. I really do. Because no matter what this expert or that expert says, no matter what science is allowed in or out, a parent, ANY PARENT, would be able to look at that picture and feel absolute disgust.

Any parent is going to look at that photo of Casey with the big,huge, joyful smile and TRY to imagine themselves, a couple of weeks after their own child is 'kidnapped'---and imagine themselves being at a picnic, laughing and drinking without a care in the world.

This may comes as a shock to Casey, but most parents would be paralyzed with grief.

That is EXACTLY what one of my law school friends said and the same thing one of the professors said...and reminded us that Scott Peterson is sitting in San Quentin on death row with very little evidence because ther was a lot of common sense amongst the jurors. Jurors can't help but use their own hypotheticals in their heads, even if they aren't supposed to!
