Pictures of the Karr Family Christmas of 1996 Have Been Found

Looks like the th's are saying the JK isn't in any of the Christmas pictures. How likely is it that a dad of 3 wouldn't be in at least one picture on that important day?

But wasn't he in Alabama, not Atlanta? That would make it 4 hr west (ie, closer).

And probably a different route. You would go up to Memphis then cut up through Missouri to Kansas City rather then Atlanta to Nashville to St Louis.

Its probably about the same difference driving time.

Yes I know him ) He is my daughters neighbor. His baby is sooo cute and a big girl!!!! LOL and his old dog is decrepid.

Yes his daugher is getting real big. Poor girl had surgery a few days ago after pulling an iron on top of her and burning her face.

I agree with sntemp, unless the family is trying to cover Karr, out of embarrasment or whatever.

Also, I've noticed myself missing from most holiday photographs. Why? Because I'm the one taking all the pictures!

Hi all.

I signed up (thank you to the admin for approving me!) to participate in this thread after doing the math and realizing that the ex-wife lives in California now with the kids. I didn't realize that---so my question is, what year did they relocate to CA from the South?

Also: I don't buy that ex-wife doesn't know whether Karr was around or not. Her kids were toddlers (ages 5,4,3) in 1996, and she'd KNOW if daddy was around, as they were still married and most moms mark the holidays by certain milestones. ("Kindergarten Christmas", etc)

I also read some of the emails series linked to 'acandyrose', the anonymous author made a reference to sneaking out and back in without ever being missed, and starts off the correspondence referring to his/her mom being an outspoken woman with certain traits, etc. I believe Karr was the author and just hoping for attention. The anonyauthor of the emails seemed very eager to have journalists contact him/her, or Tracey, or anyone other than the authorities. And seemed very knowledgeable on intimate details, and very full of subtle innuendos, and so on.

Tybee, he says she's been a trooper. I think he and Cathy were pretty shaken up about it, as any parent would be. They had to carry her to some burn center for the surgery and when I spoke to him last they weren't sure if she was going to have to have skin graphs.

Im sure it was scarry. They have always referred to her as their miracle baby and she is definitly their princess. I saw you uncle today but he was driving by and I was on my bicycle so we just waved. They are really nice folks.

I can't see that it makes any difference if there is or isn't, since neither of them are suspects.

The Karr family is currently trying to prove that John Mark Karr could not have been in Boulder, CO 12/25-26 to have killed JonBenét. A photo that doesn't include JMK isn't going to be proof that he was elsewhere.

If the DNA from JonBenét's panties matches JMK, he's in a world of legal trouble. If it doesn't, it still may not eliminate him as a suspect...depends on how the DA decides to prosecute it and on what other (if any) evidence there is to tie him to the crime.

It does make a difference because JAR was cleared as a suspect because his family said he was with them in Atlanta. The point I am trying to make is that if the DNA does NOT match Karr, the same standards should be applied to him as was applied to John Andrew Ramsey. There is a witness who says he saw JAR in Boulder that day. So far, no-one has come forward to say they have EVER seen John Mark Karr in Boulder.

Why are some people placing so much importance on the absence of photographic proof that he was with his family that year - yet (seemingly) the same people have never demanded photographic proof of JAR's presence in Atlanta.

Then she shouldn't have said she would produce one. Both her and his brother said he would produce one and so far we haven't seen one, but only heard of one where Karr is not even in the picture.
