Is this the SAME brother, who also said....
That he was unsure of the ages of John Karrs children
He didnt know JK was in Thailand
He didnt know JK was divorced
??????????
But he remembers where JK was at Xmas 1996.......Righttttttttttttttttt!:waitasec:
Yes I believe they had been estranged for over 5 years.

6 years ago, my best friend got married to a horrible man who soon made it clear that he didn't want her to maintain a relationship with any of her friends or relatives. A year after their marriage, they moved away. I phoned her a few times and he listened in on their other telephone. We exchanged Christmas cards for two years and then lost touch completely. I don't know if she's alive or dead but I could certainly be an alibi for her on many occasions in the 10 year period before she moved away.

Looks like the th's are saying the JK isn't in any of the Christmas pictures. How likely is it that a dad of 3 wouldn't be in at least one picture on that important day?

You guys ain't listening to me - someone has to be holding the camera and taking the pictures!!!!!!

Why are some people placing so much importance on the absence of photographic proof that he was with his family that year - yet (seemingly) the same people have never demanded photographic proof of JAR's presence in Atlanta.
Like the abscence of footprints kind of point TO an intruder.

It's the intruder who have to prove he wasn't there.

True - but more important to this debate is the fact that we're not talking about a family get-together in Boulder where the guy could have snuck out for a few hours and made some plausible excuse - like visiting an old school friend who was sick/newly divorced and feeling down. The fact is, he would need to have been away from his family for practically the entire holiday in order to have carried this out.

If the family usually spent Christmas together, *someone* would have remembered that he was absent for the whole of Christmas Day - surely? It's not just the wife's recollection here, there's the father, step-mother, two brothers and their spouses....

He says that he broke into the Ramsey home at 5pm. We already worked out that he would have been driving for 20 hours, so by that reckoning, he must have left at 9pm on Christmas Eve in order to make the trip. How did he even know if the Ramseys would be home for Christmas? He gets there at 5pm and the house is empty - yet he sits and waits for 5 hours - not knowing if they would return or not.

It's crazy.

LOL - don't get me started on the mantra about the absence of footprints :-)

Even if the X did find Christmas pictures with Karr in them, what is to prove that it was that exact year - could have been another Christmas - not all pictures are dated on the back!

Sure, Poco, I agree, but it stands to reason pictures would be corroborating evidence to support the ex-wife's and father's declarations Karr was with them on Christmas of that year. Sure, the pics might not have a stamp, but it's probably at least as good as the partial dna sample from JB's panties at this point!

I'm waiting for people at the party to say they remember Karr. Has there been any statements from them? Wouldn't John Ramsey remember if his daughter sat on the steps eating pineapple with a man?

A photo that doesn't contain the person in question also doesn't establish who took the photo by holding the camera.

This was a huge investigation. I'll bet you $1,000 that every single person at that party was found and fully interviewed, if not investigated.

It was a party of about 30 people, all friends and associates of the Ramseys. Why would they invite some total stranger from Alabama and his family?

He was not there. He did not sit on the steps and eat pineapple with Jonbenet.

I saw Trip DeMuth on an interview yesterday on some show. And he said he is almost positive that all the guests were tracked down and questioned. He does not remember Karr being on the list of guests.

Agreed. Do we know if there was any catering or other delivery being done? (I'm sure those people would have been tracked down, too. Just curious.)

And I also wonder about the Christmas carolers ... I remember one interview when Patsy couldn't remember if Burke and JB joined them or not. I think that was Christmas day. Far-fetched, but if they did, that would introduce other people into the day's events.

Absolutely. This might have been "botched" in the first hours because LE thought it was a kidnapping and wanted to be kind to the parents, but it turned into an immense investigation.

There's not a chance in h*** that they don't know all about everyone at that party, and where they were for the next 3-4 days.

She died in her sleep, not sure how I would be if some evil person had harmed her. It was bad enough dealing with her dying it would probably had killed me if I had to live with all this other stuff.

You can visit her website at www.babyturbo.com

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through.

He'll have more than one alibi witness. He had three kids, and at least two of them would have been old enough to remember if there was a Christmas when daddy wasn't around.
I thought we heard that his oldest is currently around 14. That would have made the oldest child 4 when JonBenet was murdered.

(Sorry if this is already mentioned somewhere - I haven't finished the thread but will forget if I don't post right away - lol.)

5 hours is a long time to just be sitting around waiting.. I would think there would be enough of his DNA lying around somewhere.. He would have had to use the bathroom, maybe gotten something to eat, looked around the place etc.. yes, he could have even worn gloves, but to just wait for 5 long hours? I dunno...

If the DNA doesn't match, then it's over. I will say, he's the first guy that seems to have gone willingly under the bus.
Unfortunately, just as the DNA not matching the Ramseys has never excluded them, it won't exlude JMK either. Hopefully there is some other rock-hard evidence one way or the other.

Why didn't Boulder do all this investigating before this Media circus? What a bunch of BS
I know this is a few days old, but I wanted to respond....I think Thailand initiated this "medica circus" because they wanted the world to know that they had a hand in breaking the 'big case'. They should have and still should keep their mouths shut. There has been so much crap to come out of Thailand that Karr is alleged to have said and he turns out not to be true. They are hindering this whole thing more than helping and all they are really doing is beating their chests and saying "look what we did".

close, let's just remember we don't know for sure if JMK said that. The media is reporting that and who knows where the heck that came from. I'm taking everything the media says for now with a grain of salt, some things could be true some not.
