But then wouldn't the absence of the control freak, even for a day, have been a memorable relief? I'm inclined to believe an ex-wife who doesn't like the guy, and has no motive for lying. She can't even be afraid of him as he's in custody.
To protect her children from the knowledge that their father is a child murderer.

Unfortunately, just as the DNA not matching the Ramseys has never excluded them, it won't exlude JMK either. Hopefully there is some other rock-hard evidence one way or the other.

True...but if it does match, then it is over (I guess I should have said that). I would think there would have to be some other evidence other than what he's saying. They have to be able to put him at the crime scene...and there certainly are a lot of things that don't add up at this point...at least for me.

As much as I would love for this to be the guy, I don't think he is. I still am a believer in what Steve Thomas had to say. But I guess time will tell with this Karr guy.

close, let's just remember we don't know for sure if JMK said that. The media is reporting that and who knows where the heck that came from. I'm taking everything the media says for now with a grain of salt, some things could be true some not.

I believe it was said by Wendy Hutchins during her interview with KRON. There is a video.

Doesn't make it true by any means. It's just what she says he told her.

Georgia attorney Gary Harris, who had represented Wexford and Nate Karr in recent days, has said that the family found a photo from Christmas 1996 that indicates Karr was in Atlanta, not Colorado, at the time of Ramsey's death.

Harris no longer represents Wexford and Nate Karr, Garrison said, but a family photo has been turned over to Boulder authorities. He could not say what the photo shows.

"I can tell you they proclaim his innocence," Garrison said. "They feel he was not there at the time, that some of the statements made by the press are absurd."

So I guess my question would be, was the photo taken in front of a monument in Atalnta, how do you determine that the picture wasn't taken in CO? And how can we prove that this picture was taken on this particular Christmas and not one from before 1996?

ok, so Karr has an alibi for xmas 96....i don't think the CO DA is going to be able to place him in Boulder ....

Lots of questions, bakerprune. Also when was it taken? Christmas Eve or early Christmas morning? Still time to fly to Colorado. It was Christmas night when JonBenet was killed, right? My memory is not what it used to be.

i don't think it really matters....his family feel certain he was w/them during that time, plus now they feel like they have 'proof'....if the DA can't prove he was in Boulder, then a jury will accept the alibi...at least that's how i see it....

It will be interesting to see how this is handled.

I wonder if this is the same photo as before - the one with the kids, but not Karr, and they say they'd remember for sure if he wasn't there with the kids. You'll note they're not saying what the photo shows - to me that says Karr isn't in it.

That kinda kills his story about the entire family traveling to Boulder and attending a Ramsey Christmas party, doesn't it? :liar:

I can't imagine that that a picture without him in it establishes an Alibi?

Details, that was just pointed out to me on another forum:

OK. What I heard on that was, the 3 boys were at Christmas dinner, and they are saying that the boys never came unless their mom and dad came. His family may honestly believe that he was there (with his family), but that isn't proof. So far, they can't find any pictures or videos that he is in.

Guess we'll have to wait and see....

me either BP, but apparently the DA is having a hard time placing him in Boulder at that time...i guess that's why the family is trying to find pics of him during xmas 96.....it's actually the DA's job to prove he was in Boulder, from what i'm understanding...

Did JMK think his family was not going to come out and say he could not have possibly been in Boulder?
