It has been mentioned in media reports that Magnotta's defense attorney, Pierre Panaccio, had previously represented the Hells Angels. Panaccio's legal dealings with the Hells Angels took some extraordinarily fascinating twists and turns, this is showcased in the following article by Mike King:

At the end of this video (at 3:00 minutes almost exactly) the reporter states that the Prosecution has stated that Magnotta is also seeking another (additional??) defense lawyer out of Ontario. Anyone have another source for this or any other info?
