Why? What possible difference with everything you already have seen does it make? I honestly would like to know.
...and I'd like to know where people think the evidence of decomp came from.

The A's are at this point IMO, just looking for that ONE juror in a potential pool they can hopefully influence. All this "crap" they are throwing out there, on the internet, other media, is pure BS.

The family is well versed in it.

All their collective energies are out on the side of road collecting money and trying to get a "win" out of this...how horrible.
You are right. It is horrible. Caylee is not a pawn.

It came from the truck of her car according to a company I think called the body farm through air testing..

They know. They know everything we are saying is right. It is their "job" to circumvent the findings and instill reasonable doubt.

I know...but thanks anyway for reminding others.

Is this directed at me? You think because I believe it's important to separate the facts from the rumors that I'm working for the Anthonys?

Lots of luck to 'em. I'll never complain about my job again.

This is a missing child. Please give me the stats on how many mothers' cars have decomp at all including hair of any kind with or without banding in the trunk along with bodily fluids that have concluded in the driver, the mother, the last person admittedly having the child have been the main suspect in her disappearance?! Does logic not play into this case anywhere?!

Not sure ... are you asking "me" to give you stats on this? Well, I can't -- possibly there is no one who can, you'd have to canvass the country to find someone who had interest in running such stats, I guess. Anyway, since this seems to be directed my way, I'm not sure what you're trying to say. I wasn't arguing anything -- I simply asked whether the matter of "death rings" had been proven on Caylee's hair. Just wanted to know.

Hi Chilly...IIRC, there was a video report by one of the TV stations (maybe WFTV?) where the reporter talked about how LE had confirmed they were testing evidence for a third time, etc., and I believe (but please don't hold me to it) that the death-band on the hair might have been mentioned as well as confirmation of chloroform.

I think all we're gonna find at this point are media reports since LE has not released any of their forensic testing results in these document dumps. I love your little avatar, by the way...so cute! :)

I remember this and I do believe that one of the posters in this forum has the statement in their signature. But..... I can't remember who the poster is. If seems, and I did not go look for a link, that the hair banding info came out at a press conference with Sheriff Beary (I think)

When results of the forensic testing first came out it was stated in the media that LE have reason to believe Caylee is dead. It was further reported that LE believe this based on testing of the hair found in Casey's trunk.

From this statement in the media it was surmised that there must be death bands present if the hair testing is what LE relied on in its decision that Caylee is most likely dead.

If one decides that the source of the information is correct that is a logical assumption. How else can death be determined from hair?

Root from the hair would have to be present for the death band to form. Some feel that there must not have been root or tissue attached or they would have nuclear dna of Caylee's instead of mitochondrial. This isn't necessarily true because nuclear dna degrades very quickly (hours to a few days) in a hot environment. There are some new methods to allow extraction but it would be a long shot to extract nuclear dna after it sat in the trunk for almost a month.

Mitochondrial dna can withstand a hot environment for a longer period of time than nuclear dna. It can be extracted from the hair shaft. Imo, this is why they have mtdna instead of nuclear dna. I believe the source that reported death was decided from testing the hair and and have concluded that a hair band exists.

From the article:
"A lead investigator in the case told WESH 2's Bob Kealing that lab results indicated Caylee's dead body was in the trunk of that car. Sources also confirmed that a stain in the trunk was not what clinched the decision that Caylee was in the trunk, but it was the strands of hair that investigators suspected all along were Caylee's."

I don't think it has been stated that the pic in question was taken during the "kidnapping" Just that it was a pic of the three of them at A park.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

If a LEGIT picture shows up with Casey, Caylee and ZG together at a park or anywhere for that matter I'll donate to the Casey Anthony Defense Fund. And THAT would kill me to do that. (it ain't happening IMO)

In addition to shooting down each false claim individually, one way any of these "theories" Cindy has put out there could be debunked at trial is to simply list them all: Let's see, JG and his family took her; at one point GA and his people were watching the kidnappers; RM, JP, Amy did something with her; Tony is a bad guy with nefarious connections; Caylee's in Puerto Rico, NY, Texas, GA, NY, NC; there really was a "Zanni" in the beginning, but now the Zanni is someone else (again, JG or Amy, according to Cindy); yet the real Zanni and her sister took Caylee from the park and left her with a script to follow.

It's more than obvious they're throwing everything they can against the wall, hoping that just one sticks for at least one juror who will consider it reasonable doubt. They'd have had a better chance if they'd picked one theory and stuck with it, rather than having tried to toss so many off-the-wall, unsubstantiated/debunked false claims out there to influence the jury pool. No worries, though...the prosecution can shoot down each and every one of them. Easily, IMO.

CW- I'm curious...and I really do value your opinion...what do you think are the facts (if any) LE has put forth?

No. Sorry. It wasn't directed at you. I was only reacting to the way that people here have latched onto it. I want to see people looking at the reasonable side of this story.

Thanks, Salem. I think there was some mention of it at some point, but darn if I have any idea where to find it. Maybe the poster you mentioned will remember. Thanks again! :)

They have said quite clearly that there is evidence of human decomposition that was found in the trunk and they have said that Caylee's hair was also found in the trunk. It's clear that they think, as do I, that Caylee's dead body was in the trunk at some point. I'm not debating any of that.

It's been posted on these boards many times that Caylee's hair WITH death bands was found in the trunk. All I want to know is if that's actually true. Every time I've asked for a link I've been basically told to go sit on it. I don't know why people get so defensive. If someone is presenting something as fact, why get all freaked when asked to provide proof of that fact?

...and I'd like to know where people think the evidence of decomp came from.

It came from the body of an "Unknown Person" that broke into the tow yard and put a dead body in the trunk of Casey's car (without the key, mind you) OR someone at the tow yard that drove the the foul DECOMP smelling car, after it was impounded and put "UNKOWN BODY" in it...according to CA speculation...don't you remember? :bang:
