PI's following out of state lead on Picture of Caylee.

If a LEGIT picture shows up with Casey, Caylee and ZG together at a park or anywhere for that matter I'll donate to the Casey Anthony Defense Fund. And THAT would kill me to do that. (it ain't happening IMO)

I think the most that can be expected is a picture with Casey and Caylee and a woman Casey will claim is ZG. Of course, no one will come forward to say, "hey, that's me in that picture," and the family and defense will say that's "proof" that it really is ZG and Casey isn't a liar after all...despite her mountain of lies.

You mean KC would be able to remember this guys name, state, etc., in order for the PI team to track him down, but she can't remember where she left her daughter or her invisi-nannies phone number? Heck, she can't even keep her lies straight.

Like someone posted earlier on a thread - KC said the last time she saw Caylee was June 9th...nope, make that June 16th. (who would forget when they last saw their daughter?) Yet the story she told CA (accdg to CAs 2nd interview - 8/4) was that she was in Tampa at Busch Gardens with ZG and crew the week of June 23rd.

Am I supposed to believe anything KC says? :bang:

Are you kidding me, First it was that she left her with the nanny at the Sawgrass Apartments, then the nanny, the sister and her kids took Caylee from her at the Blanchard Park, then she sold her to someone in Puerto Rico, and now a man took a picture of just Casey, Caylee and Zanaida, because Samatha and the kids were just to much to put in the picture, he asked Samantha to let go of Casey while he took the picture.

They have said quite clearly that there is evidence of human decomposition that was found in the trunk and they have said that Caylee's hair was also found in the trunk. It's clear that they think, as do I, that Caylee's dead body was in the trunk at some point. I'm not debating any of that.

It's been posted on these boards many times that Caylee's hair WITH death bands was found in the trunk. All I want to know is if that's actually true. Every time I've asked for a link I've been basically told to go sit on it. I don't know why people get so defensive. If someone is presenting something as fact, why get all freaked when asked to provide proof of that fact?

For me, even though I wasn't asked, my emotions are definitely playing into this. I wish I could find a link about the death band, but I honestly don't know where it is or if it was stated by LE. I do think you make alot of valid points, and I appreciate your opinions, as I do most on this board.

To be fair, I didn't see in the report that the defense is claiming the picture was taken on the day of the alleged kidnapping...just that the guy says he has a picture of Caylee with both Casey and "ZG". Of course there will not be any such verifiably authentic picture because the entire Zanni Nanny thing is a lie. It's getting closer to time for trial on the neglect charges and they're facing the possibility of far more serious charges, so they are trying (in vain, IMO) to create some reasonable doubt.

Exactly, but surely they KNOW that they will have to PROVE IT. I can imagine that it will be after Friday before that come forward with a reason why a photo can't be produced. :behindbar

You are one tough cookie! We won't know about the testing on the hair until a later date IMO. A lot of info here is gleaned from what the "experts" have put out. Just giving their opinions if you ask me. I go into brain freeze when I hear all the talk about death bands.

I must admit that while the LE seems to be holding a LOT back regarding a possible homicide I am spooked by their lack of firm conviction, not clearly stating KC is a suspect, Caylee deceased and, future charges.

They seem to use very careful language so it is hard to know if they are just playing JB, so he doesn't do as he just did and seek to pounce on this discovery with motions, in order to blindside him or -- what?

Why be so politically correct in use of 'suspect' and Caylee's disposition and clarity on the forensics? It reinforces CA's propaganda on fabrication.

ETA: and feeds the media who provide the goods, but not based on facts!

Do I think Casey is responsible for the decomp in the trunk, as in do I think she harmed Caylee and put her dead body in the trunk? Yes, I do. However, without absolute undeniable proof that the dead body in the trunk was Caylee there is the tiniest itty-bittyest possibility that the body in the trunk was someone other than Caylee. If I knew that the death band on Caylee's hair story was true, that little smidget of possibility would be gone, which is why I ask for a link every time someone presents that story as a fact.

Chilly, please see my post #513. I tried to explain the best I could where the death band notion came from. Also, there is a link to the original statement by lead investigator John Allen that led some (myself included) to conclude death bands were present. Hope it helps.

Well, I think the other purpose it serves is for the defense to try to shore up a claim that LE neglected to follow up on lots of so-called credible tips; therefore, the jury can't be sure that Casey's story is untrue and that someone else doesn't have Caylee. I don't think proving the picture is authentic and that there really is a ZG is necessarily the sole goal with that.

As we've seen here at WS, there is a small minority of people who are willing to buy the kidnapped/sold/gave away story, despite all the evidence to the contrary, and it takes only one to achieve a NG verdict. So the defense is looking to influence the jury pool. I imagine we're gonna see several more rabbits pulled outta the defense's...hat...before this goes to trial.

If that is the case...you will wait until trail. They will prove it. We are not going to able to prove their case here.
