I really think they are leasing and not buying. As busy as they are on different film locations, I don't think they'd buy anything this big and expensive with all of their travels. But it does now make sense why Maddox learned French. I can't imagine how chaotic the house is with all the different languages spoken. :crazy:

I can see how someone with that much money and that many kids would need lots of room. They can probably use 15 bedrooms easy with nannies, cook, housekeepers, visitors, and their own bedrooms.

Umm, I believe Angelina's mother was French CANADIAN - not exactly "French" (as in from France) as Angelina implies. Yes, she spoke French - but so do a LOT of Canadians who have never set foot in France.

The Jolie Pitts have at least 25 "people" with them in France. 4 Nannies, 2 Chefs, a Nurse, a Midwife, a Tutor, a Household Manager, a dozen or more "security staff" and drivers and of course they also have wardrobe and make-up people. They also keep at least one and often TWO helicopters (with pilots) available at all times.

As much as they would like for us to believe they are "just like us", Brad and Angie are NOTHING like us. They might as well live on another planet, that's how much their life resembles ours. I don't resent their good fortune but I do resent their continual implications that they live in the same "world" that we do - because they don't. And Angelina is NOT, and has never been, "normal" - she has "issues" and hasn't always been this paragon of motherhood and normality she selling the public right now. I feel sorry for the kids - they have been moved around a half dozen times in the last 18 months and I doubt they will stay in France for long - Angie and Brad will drag them off to the next "location" as soon as the new babies are born and Angie recovers enough to travel. Wherever Brad goes...so goes Angie - it's tough to trust your man when you KNOW he is open to a movie set seduction when he's already involved.... because that's how YOU got him.

hello there stranger. I thought I read early on that they were renting it with designs on buying it or something similar. But Lord only knows where we get any of this info anyway.
I also think at their income level, they use some pretty sophisticated tax and estate planning and that may include renting or buying a place like this. Sometimes ya gotta spend money to keep it.

I am waiting for the children to grow up and sell the 'tell-all' books about their life. Angie and Brad are filthy rich. They can have or adopt as many kids as they want to and it will never affect them in any way. It's not like they are sacrificing anything by having children. They hire people to do all the work. I would love for one of these celebrity moms to walk a day in a real moms shoes..

I think it is neat!! Buy or lease.. while I would prefer that Americans invest in the USA, they still are putting many people to work.. they are paying folks to run there "business" of family. It is not a waste of money... it gives back.

I would be SHOCKED to see any Hollywood marriage last, but still.. I am really rooting for these 2. With the papparazzi chasing them down at every corner, they still manage to seem somewhat normalish, in spite of being beyond filthy rich.
