Chelsea has now put the picture of her tattoo with an angel and Haleigh's name as her my-space avatar. There has been rumor about it all week and now she has it up. Go take a look. I find it very odd that she would have a Tattoo of Haleigh's name and an angel. She only knew Haleigh for less than 4 months. Why would she even put that type of tattoo on her foot? Very suspicious IMO.

It is odd. It seems that Haleigh's disappearence has effected this young mother. I would think it would eat you alive if you knew she was never coming back and you know what happened to her, and would have to memorialize her to make your self feel as though Haleigh really meant that much to her alive. IMO. sorry snarky but if she does have this tatoo I think it's for her own absolution not to honor a girl she had only known for months.jmo

That is a very VERY tender place to get a small tattoo, let alone one so detailed and large. My goodness, she must love Haleigh a lot to endure that.

I have been questioning this picture the past few days. The angel under the name is a sign that the child has passed IMO. I really would like to know when she had this tattoo placed on her foot. If it is her foot. I have another picture, like elle said the foot is turned around. But same picture..very disturbing IMO. I had asked Levi to check up on it and was hoping he would discuss it on JVM last night. I think he may be on tonight, unless something comes up at the last minute again.

Most people do not know what signifies death. I know someone that had her babys picture taken professionally and the photographer put ivy around her. Ivy signifies it's a dead baby being photographed.
My daughter and I were just talking about how it seems to be the thing to do lately to appear to be mourning. In my area any way about every other car has a memorial on the back window.
Kids are encouraged to mourn and go to counselors at school when any one dies even if they do not know the deceased.
Among a lot of people it's sort of a status symbol to have a memorial tattoo. moo of course

Slightly O/T but I have a memorial tattoo for my daughter that passed away. However, I would find it very strange for someone else to have a memorial tattoo for her - especially if that person had only known her a few months. IDK but it seems very off to me.

This is the other post I was meaning about there being another "slightly different" picture of the same tattoo. The reason I was curious about it is I wondered was if it is different...is it possible it is a different persons tattoo? I mean I know sometimes people will go together and get matching tattoos. Just curious.

Disclosure: another picture of this tat has been circulating around the internet and it was said to be Chelsea's foot. The only difference is the background was a tad different and the foot was facing in another direction. This morning when I was doing my myspace checks I saw the pic posted on her myspace finally so I came here to post.

It looks like the myspace pic. was taken in the car. That is the steering wheel in the background. Look closely, it has the windshield wiper button on it.

ETA: Not windshield wiper button, headlight button.

Nicer looking than Ron's IMO. The long flowy hair on the angel is pretty. It is kinda weird for her to get one of Haleigh but to each their own.

I agree. Need to see them side by side. Looks like a different foot or the shadows have hidden the bone structure on the inner side.
