That makes me happy to hear. The murderer doesn't have the same odds against maximum level convicts as he did with Maddie, Kaylee, Xana and Ethan. Innocent, young, sleeping (mostly) adults never expecting any violence invading their home.

Let him pull his extemporaneous speaking expertise "I know everything, you know nothing" crap on these guys and I'd say the murderer would end up on the receiving end of a good smackdown. Works for me.

He's in PC 23 hours per day, for how long or forever, I do not know. I wonder how that will affect him? Who will be there to listen to him brag about how smart, gifted and superior he is?

I don't think he will suffer any more than any other criminal. He seems to be skilled in coercion. He will use that to his advantage in prison.

I watched the video of the police stop where he was speeding. A speeding ticket, per his conversation with the officer, results in demerits on his licence. He knew that, even though he acted as though he didn't.

He immediately offered/agreed that he was not wearing a seatbelt, which is a minor offence with a $10 fine. By controlling the conversation - declaring that he is an honest person who would not lie about whether he was wearing a seatbelt - the officer was almost borderline apologetic for having to give him a ticket for something he didn't know for sure until Kohberger admitted it. He did not get the speeding ticket.

Total Narcissistic Manipulator on the sly when it benefits him. IMO

Joe Scott Morgan keeps mentioning Maddies's defensive wounds and saying that she had to have been awakened but I thought Bill Thompson was asked about this by Kevin Fixler and that BT said only KG & XK had defensive wounds.

Which is it? BT wouldn't get that mixed up imo

I believe the way in which Hippler responded to her ‘possible other suspects’ was awkward for AT, like a hand slap. It was almost an admonishing from Hippler, he wasn’t happy about it and it was obvious.

I've only read a little bit about Bundy, but this makes me agree with the other posters here who believe BK was trying to emulate or was "inspired" by Bundy. the similarities in this attack are chilling.

It almost sounds like they believed that it was okay to have a damaged lock on an exterior exterior because there was safety in numbers. Imagine coming home to find the lock on the front door damaged and thinking - it's broken, no reason to worry.

Moreover from that, BK may have been the source of why the door did not work properly (broken lock?, loose hinges on the front too). It is not typical to have issues like this. Gaining access to study the floor plan and become comfortable, there was evidence just like with lingering at the back of the yard to desentize Murphy. I am remembering the neighbor in Pullman, who he may have been the source of moving around items in the bathroom,

Whatever was going on with the doors/dog behavior should have been red flags to the residents. It should have been reported and repaired. JMOO

Too many people coming and going, residents only feeling responsible for their bedroom, and neglect of basic issues like security, lighting, broken locks, and even deck access contributed. They could have done a lot better for $3k a month. It is just obvious and neglectful at minimum. JMOO

All these issues should have been immediately reported to the landlord.

Landlord's key duties to tenants include maintaining a safe and habitable living space, making necessary repairs,
ensuring the property meets basic health and safety standards.

It is the Law.

We’ve given a lot of thought to what we should say since 7/23 and have edited this a million times. The entire situation has been a tough pill to swallow but at the end of the day, we believe the outcome is the right one.

Most importantly, however, are the many people we want to thank - the true heroes in our lives:

The Moscow Police Department, ISP and FBI, who worked tirelessly on this case, and spent time away from their loved ones.

The prosecutors who openly communicated with transparency, answered every call and email, and were fantastic throughout this process.

The University of Idaho staff who consistently supported our family, especially Maizie and Hunter, from their first day of orientation through graduation this past May.

Our incredible extended family, friends, and the communities that continue to lift us up every day. They’re our backbone, and we recognize how fortunate and privileged we are to have this ongoing support.

All of the kids!! Close friends of the triplets, Greek family, and others who were part of this story from the very beginning. Although each of their experiences is different, all have suffered severe loss and trauma. We continue to be in awe of their strength, and will continue to support them in any way we can.

At the time Mr. Kohberger was arrested in December 2022, about seven weeks after the killings, investigators detailed cellphone data linking Mr. Kohberger to late-night visits he had made to areas around where the killings occurred. That suggested he had studied the scene of the murders before carrying them out.

But Mr. Thompson conceded on Thursday that those visits did not necessarily prove Mr. Kohberger had visited the home or surveilled it, as the area served by the cell tower infrastructure probably extended all the way to the main highway that brings people into town from Washington, where Mr. Kohberger lived.

IMO It’s likely he surveilled the home, but it can’t be proven from the cell records.

Okay then explain how when it came to Rex Huberman, Gilgo Beach Killer, why they were then able to use the cell tower pings of his phone to prove he was everywhere he was when dead bodies were found? Cause yes, cell phone towers will ping a geo location of where you've been, that's how they find people lost in the woods to lost in plane crashes that are still alive due to the cell towers and radio towers. It's a gps based ping with phone towers because everytime you aren't on the wifi, you are using the cell tower and the tower pings that info back to the carrier of the company you are using where it's data recording your gps location. So yes, cell phone records 100% can prove where you've been.
