I haven’t gotten terribly far reading the newest document dump but I have been reading and a few things jumped out at me and then made me rethink some things.

1. I don’t think the murderer was an incel but I do think he was an over the top misogynist as evidenced by his “relationships” with women in his circle. I honestly think he hated women. His lack of respect for his female Profs by attending classes late but not his male Profs is quite telling. Harsh grading meted out to female students but not to male students, talking over female students as if they are less than him. Blocking female students from leaving the office. Theres so much more.

2. The murderer indicated that he would not settle for any woman who not perfect. Wow!

3. I have long believed he was a voyeur/peeper. Some of the reporting in these documents certainly lead us to believe he was doing this.

4. After creeping around he finally found 1122 King Road. It was only a matter of time. I believe he saw Maddie through the window. He watched her a lot. Was she the perfect woman? The house was perfect. Maddie’s room was the only room occupied on the third floor. I’m convinced he was in the house prior to the murders. I am convinced he knew Kaylee had moved out. Maddie was all alone on the upper level.

5. Maddie was perfect. The location was perfect. The house was perfect. He went straight up. He could do what he wanted with Maddie and no one would know, after all, Kaylee was no longer there. Sure her car was there but he didn’t know that was hers. It was new.

6. But Kaylee was there. She ruined it. He beat her and stabbed her. He was so mad. Kaylee took the brunt of his anger.

7. But then Xana ruined it too. So he dealt with her.

8. I think Ethan slightly roused. He had to deal with Ethan now.

9. And then there’s Dylan. He knew he’d been heard. I’m sure he saw her but he didn’t have time to kill her. In his mind she’d probably called 911. He had to get out of there. That’s why he went back to the house. He wasn’t hearing anything. What was going on??? Surely Dylan had called 911!

10. The sheath. It was missing. He was screwed. Did he lose it? Freak out? Did he call mommy so she could settle him and calm his nerves? Oh I think that’s exactly why he called her. He needed to be talked “down”. He obviously didn’t tell her what he had done but he may have been in full panic mode. I’m sure Mommy had seen and dealt with this in the past. Call Mother.

Every woman in Pullman and Moscow was at risk. All of them.

Strictly MOO and my personal thoughts.

I am kind of surprised that no one from WSU dropped a dime on the weird PHD candidate/TA who drove an Elantra and had issues specific to females. Also, did he “change” in some way once he moved to WA? So little background on him from people in PA, a couple of students and barely friends. We know so little about him, I expected more to come out.

Separately, I am watching a docuseries on The Yogurt Shop Murders, which occurred in 1991. Bob Ayers, Amy’s father, reminds me of SG in his relationship with the investigators of his daughter’s case. He wanted to know what they knew, and they couldn’t tell him. He is still waiting for his answers.
I teach at a small university and park in the same lots as my students. I couldn't tell you the make, model or color of any student's car (other than that kid with the Ferrari). A professor teaching a graduate class may see that student once or twice a week for 3-5 hours, almost all of which time is spent in class doing the work. It's not reasonable to think his professors could "drop a dime on" BK for mass murder having known him for 10 or 12 weeks.

We know he had been confronted with his inappropriate behavior toward women in a PA brewery.

Bryan Kohberger’s prison responds to complaints about inmates ‘taunting’ him

This article contains good photos of BK's prison. NewsNation got a rare look inside the Idaho supermax prison where Bryan Kohberger will spend the rest of his life.

NewsNation learned that Kohberger was being “tormented” by his fellow inmates, who are taking turns shouting through the air ducts at him. He is in “J Block” and that block is the worst outside of being on death row.

They are now making his life absolutely miserable. They’re utilizing the vent system, they’re kicking the doors, they’re taunting him and he’s complaining to the guards.

He’s in an isolation situation, those around him can’t get to him physically. Like a prison within a prison. The guards, the most they can do is write it down or tell him, "Hey, there’s nothing we can do. You’re not in physical harm."

As I mentioned before, he should be able to buy ear plugs and ear buds for his tablet to help mute all the shouting and banging. Sounds like the inmates are kicking their own doors just to cause noise disturbance.

I assume he relies on his parents to put $$$ in his commissary account.
Is he eligible for a tablet yet? In PA, inmates have rack up some days in prison before they can apply.

I think in the GSK case, it was shown during sentencing to make a point that the weak old man he pretended to be in his appearances were an act. They weren't leaked by an unknown employee; they were part of the official record.

BK's leaked video very much seems more like an intrusion of privacy and violation of protocol. The leaker here should certainly be reprimanded.
I wonder if any part of that video used AI? It's just so bizarre, but then again, we are speaking about the psycho murderer. Who knows? I do think it's wrong to film inmates for sensationalism or for monetary gain.

It seems odd to me that the inmates are interrupting their own sleep and the sleep of the other inmates to torment the Killer. What are they getting out of this except sleepless nights?

I totally think he was breaking into houses long before the murders. I suspect he was in the King Road house before the night of the murders (just a guess).

I don't know how he found the time to do everyhing, tbh. He was on the phone with Mother for hours, he monopolized people in his program at school, he was a TA and had his own studies to do. He followed people around, apparently researched them (he knew the cafe worker's name and schedule), lurked around their homes, entered their homes (the co-worker whose items he re-arranged).

He was only there for about half a year!

Was he not sleeping at night and taking something to help him stay away in the day?

Regarding his being on the phone with his mother for hours, I thought that was while he was in jail awaiting trial. Did I miss something about him doing this while he was working? It’s possible I did, but I just want to check and make sure “talking to his mom for hours while working” is a fact and not a misunderstanding. Thanks! 😊

Yup. Been dealing with it at various levels for 19 years now with my eldest (started when he was 4). OCD can really disrupt sleep and sleep patterns. He even had to do a sleep study for it. Luckily my son never vacuumed in the middle of the night (as BK's apartment neighbors at WSU reported).

Severe visual snow can as well. And OCD and visual snow are a great chicken and egg combination.

Then there is another nasty thing that is common with bad visual snow--depersonalization/derealization (not full blown DID). And that can mess with sleep patterns as well.

Then you look at whatever migraine or psych medications he may have tried over his teen years. Ditto for potential for messing up sleep.

And even when/if one of those things improves noticeably.....if you went through a long period of sleep problems due to those issues, congratulations---you've now altered your circadian rhythms, likely developed very bad sleep hygiene. And now you've got figure out how retrain your body/brain to go back to something more normal for sleep.....and if your sleep has been messed up for a long time, it's going to be even harder to undo. Melatonin doesn't work for some people--me and the OCD kid get nightmares from even small amounts of it. My 18 yo (who has other issues) is fine on it.

Not to mention the rise in popularity in energy drinks during his teen years and young adulthood.

Likely a LOT of things went into giving him a long lasting sleep issue.

Why did AT never raise Visual Snow Syndrome?

She must have had reasons.

He hated women but was tethered to his mom. Looking to level up after the murders. How did he view his mother's role in all this? Did he expect blind support if he got caught?

Not the OP but I think the intent was that he made these calls with Mother during the period he was employed (and taking classes), not that he made the phone calls during office hours.

His phone call mere hours after the murder, accusing to the docudump, was not atypical.

Also what stands out is a couple of his fellow TAs - including the maleTA who said BK wanted to have ' guy talks' with him - mentioning that he never talks about his family.

Protective?Embarrassed? No idea , but for a guy who likes to brag, surely he could find something to relay or exaggerate? ( My sis was a therapist, sis was in a movie, mom's experience in education)
Mom and Dad were his whole support system but he doesn't mention them

also wrt your second question, yes you're probably right. The WSU documents really give impression of a guy with a hair-trigger temper and one who detests to be contradicted. Even interjections rile him. Living in the same house as him would be worse than walking on eggshells. ( Son - parent domestic violence is also more common than people want to admit)

At the end of the Tapatalks, back when he was 16 he did return to tell the VS community that he was now over it. IIRC he said that he'd achieved that through diet.

IMO he never had it in any case. He was having a MH breakdown and looking for self-diagnoses online - as long as they didn't lead to questions around mental health. ( Whenever anyone in the VS community gently suggested a psych, he blanked it)

I can't think of any mental health condition that has visual static as a major/common known symptom.

Whereas there are mental health conditions that can co-occur with known frequency, like OCD...OCD itself doesn't cause the visual snow.

I known I've said it here before, and I'll say it again....at the time that BK started posting in the visual snow thread, there wasn't a lot of info available online about visual snow. And what there was usually didn't list the mental health issues that can co-occur or result from from having the more severe forms of it. The chances of a teen randomly searching about depersonalization/derealization and/or OCD at that time period getting a hit on visual snow would have been very highly unlikely. During that time period, the commonly available VSS info online would really primarily be linked with one thing--migraines.

My migrane episodes (luckily rare) start with visual snow. There are triggers one needs to avoid. Did he ever suffer from migraines?

Yes I think that he preferred to believe he had VS - a physiological condition rather than a psych one ( He referenced all kinds of symptoms which fit a range of physiol & psych conditions, not just VS. From insomnia, migraine, tinnitus right through to auditory hallucinations of blood curdling screams. )

when I posted
' ....as long as they didn't lead to questions around mental health. ( Whenever anyone in the VS community gently suggested a psych, he blanked it)...'

That blanking seemed clear in 2010 and now we have the ISP uploads we hear from witnesses that he'd said in 2022 he'd never countenance dating a woman with any mental health condition either. ( Not just an embargo on a mate's physical disabilities)
TBC I can understand why a 15 yr old doesn't want to countenance any notion of MH issues - scary plus huge stigma - but by 2022 he's expressing a range of views - in the WSU uploads - which are bordering on eugenicist. ( BTW In WSU uploads, he covers many of his views by mentioning his ' Catholic' background but many of the other beliefs he expressed are against Catholic teaching)

Anyway, moving on to 2025 - does anybody think that the imprisoned BK would welcome a full clinical forensic eval if somebody from the FBI asked ? ( The type which uncovers personality disorders?)

ETA re @Inthedetails later comment, afaik, Ramsland also isn't licensed/clinical

Your whole post was great, but I've snipped this part about misogyny. I wonder if he either planned to or is enjoying underming Dr. Ramsland.

I'm assuming the long and frequent calls to Mother were an ongoing thing, but now that you mention it, maybe that is a wrong assumption.

Someone will know - please post!

Yes and he mentioned having seen an eye doctor and a neurologist and I guess his parents must've tried their best to get a diagnosis or find something treatable or curable.

Within a short period of him telling the Tapatalk community that VS was no longer a big issue for him, he was on heroin.

I guess
It was a process of changing
from a chubby bullied boy at school
to a bully himself.

His transformation
from a fat, laughed at (by girls?) child/teen
to slim, condescending adult is striking.

Even then in the last documents it said that if a woman was the professor he'd show up halfway through the class or sometimes not show up at all.

MOO he was always disrespectful entitled with girlfs. I am not sure "bullied" is right word for girls not wanting to be forced to interact with someone who they sensed had the elements of a future murderer.
