Doordash delivery from JITB 20 mins before the murder is confirmed in the Probable Cause Affidavit.

The JITB bag with Xana's name on it was photographed at the crime scene. The bag is opened but it's not been reported if the contents were still in the bag or consumed. LE was keen to interview the Doordash delivery driver to clear them as a suspect. IMO, there's no reason to doubt the date or time of the food delivery. Also, the PCA is only 19 pgs and is linked below for a refresher of the known facts.

The affidavit does not say JITB, at least not that I could see. I could not use that. The JITB bag was a picture in the kitchen. That didn't make it a fact that it was the delivery from that night.

The redacted file with the almost invisible line that @SteveP and @PunishThenForgive show above is proof that the Doordash was at least from JITB. It's no wonder I missed it and am grateful for the effort to help me put things in the right columns.

You don't believe in leprechauns? Oh my! I have to believe in them so they don't wreck havoc in my home to prove they exist!

All kidding aside...my Irish grandma believed in raising her grandchildren with lots of scary tales.

We're going to trial in August...that I firmly believe in!! Come on with the hammer already.
yes, I believe we will be watching a trial in August too. I think Judge B has possibly cleared both the defense and prosecution from being directly involved in the Dateline leaks so far. So he feels comfortable moving forward, imo.

As for Irish Grandma's, mine told me tales about the Garden Fairies that would bless me and look out for me if I helped her with yard work and was kind to nature. And she told my brothers scary stories about trolls and how they watch for bad children to take them under the bridges if they lie or steal. lol.

Yes. It was like a snack pack thing. I am not even sure if they offer it anymore. There is no Jack in the Box in Moscow, so this was in Pullman. They have something similar for $22.99 now (game day munchies). JMOO, as I have never eaten from JITB.

At that dollar amount, I would've guessed it was one burger combo. Here where I am that amount of food would be over $100.

William Searfoss is one page 1, Anthony Somma is on page 2.
Yes, after you pointed out that the summonses for the two new witnesses were indeed posted on the Pennsylvania Cases of Public Interest page for The Commonwealth v Kohberger, I saw that the first two pages of the filing with link “June 23, 2025 - Summons and Decorum Order” are indeed the “Order Scheduling a Hearing on Petition for Summons” for William E Searfoss and Anthony Somma.

The remaining four pages are the Decorum Order, which is the same as the single filing for the five original witnesses with link “June 18, 2025 - Decorum Order.”

Note that each of the original five witnesses, Andreola, Harris, Parham, Sanders, and Vecchio
has an individual filing with link “June 4, 3025 - Petitions, Summons, Exhibits (last name of witness).”

Each of these individual filings contains the “Order Scheduling a Hearing on Petition for Summons” for the witness, plus Exhibit A and Exhibit B, where Exhibit B is a subpoena by Anne Taylor to spend 2 days at trial in Idaho.

For example, here’s the link to the filing for one of the original witnesses, Ralph Vecchio:
june 4, 2025 - Petition, Summons, Exhibits (Vecchio)

The single filing for the two new witnesses does not include subpoenas. So I believe we’re in the dark with respect to who called each of the two new witnesses—the prosecution or the defense?

IMO

I’m not so sure. The driver’s car, phone, and possible dashcam might be great, but I think the defense will go after any eyewitness testimony.
I'm not sure they will be able to do that much damage to the DDD's testimony.

We don't know if her later arrest for DUI will even be admitted into evidence because it does not seem relevant to the night of the crime, imo.

And they will have evidence of her travels on the night of the murders, showing she was at the same time and place as BK's car, allegedly. And proof from her job that she would be parked right by the home---picture of delivery bag included.

So what is AT going to go after her about? And if she goes at her too hard it could turn off the jury because she is just a hard working delivery driver who happened to be in a dangerous situation through no fault of her own. Attacking her seems a bad call, imo.

And the food had to fit in one small paper sack. 😊

<modsnip>

This clip of Entin reading the report while sitting around casually at home was informative to me, as I’m still behind on the DD driver part.

I wasn’t sure if or why the DD driver, MM, had not notified LE that she was the driver as soon as she found out about the murders.

As Brian Entin is reading the police report aloud, it seems as though she told the police who she was relative to this case, but my impression was that it was to show the police that she was a person who had significant information and not just someone on medication and acting disorderly.

However, I realize that it could be inferred that she had in fact already met with LE, as she stated that she was to testify at trial.

If that’s the case then she has more credibility, IMO, than if this was the first time she told any LE about her proximity to this crime scene.

I’ve had to skim through many posts and I understand this likely has already been thoroughly dissected here.

Will someone more informed than I please clue me in?

Thanks to all who are keeping up better than I am right now.
I don't know if she contacted police or they contacted her, but I am certain that LE knew about the DD order and would have contacted DD for that info on the driver.

They went through all the phones of the victims and Xana's order would have been very interesting to LE, imo.

MAYBE when the DDD saw news about the murders she contacted LE to say she saw a man driving around the crime scene area at 4 am or so? But if not, they would have contacted her pretty quickly anyway, imo.

Just an FYI...we watch DDs progress on the app and will know exactly when they're arriving. There's really no need to watch for them out the window.
Sometimes on our app, it says up top, "not all drivers are picked up by GPS tracker"

I guess some old cars are not tracked by that system? I wonder what type/year of car she was driving?

What is BK's PA prison guard going to testify to?

FWIW

XK may have been watching her DD by tracker and waiting by the window. In which case she could have seen BK. With or without alarm.

As to the actual delivery, the DDD will be able to set that straight. But until then, it's possible she delivered it directly to XK at the slider. XK could have been standing outside the slider making herself evident.

XK would have been trying hard not to wake up the whole houseful, including Murphy.

Not for sure but Jack in the box was in the window. Full autopsy would show, unless she did not eat it.

In my city, a person can order all sorts of things for home delivery by a variety of door drop drivers / riders. For example grocery items, toiletries, alcoholic drinks, hot / cold drinks, pharmacy items, home wares via sites like amazon etc... on and on.

It's always been mentioned as to X ordering and eating food but I've lost track of whether we ever did know that and if it's been established where the DD driver collected from and if the contents of the delivery were even known to her.

University of Idaho student Xana Kernodle received a DoorDash delivery less than 20 minutes before she was stabbed to death inside her home, according to an arrest affidavit released Thursday.

[..]

Authorities noted that law enforcement interviewed an unidentified DoorDash delivery driver, who shed light on the timeline and was eliminated as a suspect.
I don't know why, but the dirt on the counter by the little plant seems out of place to me. It's like it was knocked over at some point. Xana's bag and drink cup looks like they were placed there before the plant situation.

Or maybe I am being overly analytical this morning, lol.

The redacted DoorDash receipt for Jack-in-the-Box is appended to this court doc. @SteveP discussed this yesterday.

Did Xana ever actually have the delivery in her hands? It's somewhat interesting that the DD mentions being "right next" to Bryan but doesn't mention seeing Xana. This could mean nothing but I wonder if the DD leaves the delivery outside, as is common with DoorDash, and Xana bumps into Bryan on her way to collect the delivery a few minutes later? MOO

I can't remember if this was posted or not yet.

I'll bet you a few nickels that BK asked the guard if his arrest was national news and what else he could find out about how they caught him. Might have even asked the guard to get him a newspaper. (Although a guard would likely know nothing of value).

Prosecution is probably trying to paint the picture and fill in the story of him being a want-to-be serial killer and the "fame" that comes with it.

jsut my guess why a guard would be asked to testify. I doubt seriously there is any kind of confession.

What is BK's PA prison guard going to testify to?
The reason may be completely unrelated, but my best guess is that depending on whether this person was summoned by the defense, or by the state, the guard may testify that BK's time in the Monroe Co Jail was either uneventful or was disruptive. There was at least one published report in The Daily Mail, of a woman who was incarcerated for a short while at the same time he was there, that made claims of him singing violent rap songs and taunting guards, as well as trying to expose himself to females. The warden denied all of those claims. While it sounds a bit too much like a bogus paid story, I do find it interesting that the woman claimed BK was loudly singing violent rap songs, two years before we heard on Dateline of his apparent fondness for violent songs. Her story may have had some truth to it. JMO

The warden of the Pennsylvania jail where Bryan Kohberger has been held described the accused killer’s time behind bars as “uneventful” — denying reports that the suspect taunted jail guards.

The warden also denied a report from the Daily Mail, which quoted a fellow inmate who claimed that Kohberger taunted guards, tried to expose himself and sang violent rap songs.

In the videos, the woman explained to police that among her many life stressors, she was due to take the stand in the high-profile trial of the man charged with killing four University of Idaho students in 2022. She had been pulled over on Sept. 4, 2024, first for driving with expired registration, then was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, the police report said

After the woman was placed under arrest, she told officers that she was the DoorDash driver who, in the early morning hours of Nov. 13, 2022, dropped off food for Xana Kernodle, one of the four killed that night. Police believe Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen and Ethan Chapin were stabbed to death by a masked intruder in an off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, just minutes after the DoorDash driver pulled away.

The woman, in talking to police while in custody, reiterated that she would be testifying "against Bryan" four times, to three different officers.

"I've gotta testify against Bryan next year. I've got enough crap going on," she told one officer through sobs, handcuffed in the back of the police vehicle.

“I’m supposed to testify against Bryan next year,” she said, "The guy that killed all the freakin', all the girls over in Moscow."

“Well, this won’t change any of that," the officer said.

“Yea well, I got a DUI on my record? That’s gonna look like crap," the woman said.

“I think maybe be more concerned about the drug use than the DUI," Pullman Police Officer Breauna Carpenter said.

The woman responded, “Yeah.”

if the bag in the picture is the correct bag the red seal has been broken at the top so it was opened
