I think that we all wonder why he chose this group of young people. I am additionally perplexed as to why he felt the need to enter X's bedroom and murder a sleeping victim? What was the point of doing that? Those other two girls were extremely lucky that he didn't go after them. There's no way that he saw the girl at her door and probably didn't realize that there was an occupied basement level.

JMO.
Maybe he assumed it was a girl in the bed, same as he encountered upstairs. Given his feelings towards women...

Hopefully some day soon, BK's name can be added to one of these two lists of notorious criminals.

Jeffrey Epstein
Israel Keyes
Ted Kaczynski
Aaron Hernandez
John C. Salvi III
Philip Markoff

Jeffrey Dahmer
Albert DeSalvo
Donald Harvey
Charles Schmid
James "Whitey" Bulger

JMO
I'm from a different camp. I hope his name isn't added to a list of notorious criminals. I want Maddie, Kaylee, Xana and Ethan to be remembered as the lively and fun-loving people they were, and for BK to waste away in prison eating vegan meals and to be forgotten.

JMO!

Good question.
No inside knowledge but pretty sure they were all treated the same. I was so impressed with that statement read by Maddie's family attorney. Real class act. They have started a non profit in her memory. I hope that the other families can come to this place.

Oh I agree, but I took that list to be those who committed suicide while in prison, ergo the poster is hoping for a self-designed end to Bryan Kohberger.

It has always sounded as if Ethan's family is on a similar path at least. MOO

He apparently was fixated on Maddy Mogen, Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger targeted one of his victims, new theory claims who was on the 3rd floor. Today on Newsnation "Banfield with Ashleigh", the order of the murders support this theory. Kaylee was not supposed to be in the house, but decided to sleep over in Maddy's room. Xana heard noise upstairs and was outside her room as he came down the stairs, they believe she retreated into her room where she was murdered, and Ethan was killed in his sleep. He quickly ran out and sped away.

Oh. I didn't realize that. I almost said "Well, OK then!!! I'm all for that!" 😁

Then decided that I still don't want to feed his ego being on any "notorious" lists (cuz he likely wanted that from the get go), and instead I'll opt for no add to the list, but if he wants to "bye-bye" himself, I'm ALL for it! 👍

Oh they're the only two lists quoted he deserves to be on, either the list alongside those who have made their own exit off this earth, or the other one where someone else helped them exit off this earth.

He deserves death one way or another.

IMO

Were all the victims' families 'left out' or just the G's? It doesn't sound as if Maddie's mother and stepfather felt 'left out'. MOO
They just weren't included in the negotiations it sounds like, but rather informed after he had accepted the deal. The judge said today that it wasn't an intentional move, but rather that with the trial set to begin next month, that if let's say Kohberger agreed to the deal, then backed out, they would begin the trial as usual, not a lot of time in between. They had to move quickly to cover all scenarios. He was sorry that some family might not be able to travel there with such short notice. Hopefully though they'll be there for the sentencing phase and victim's impact statements.

From what we've seen in past cases, once the seal is removed, organizations and private individuals can request that evidence.

I fully expect Hippler to unseal everything he can, as he's been pretty clear the only reason they've sealed so much is to protect the integrity of the trial, which is no longer a concern.

There's a lot of evidence and privacy concerns, so I'm sure it's going to be a laborious process for the court to go through this stuff.

But I'm optimistic we'll get a lot. It's just when.
I was under the impression that when sentencing is finalized on July 23rd, the gag order drops away.
If that is correct, I have hopes that we will find out the many things known to LE that we as yet do not know. Also anything that the MSM knew and didn’t publicize, if that exists.

Bloody hell 😑

Like I cannot fathom the pain, anger and other emotions whirling round in this man but he's not doing himself any favours here.
He's encouraged members of the public to harass the judge and the state prosecutors, now he's in no uncertain words making veiled threats towards the Kohbergers!
This is awful to watch unravel.
Honestly, I get why he's angry but there are 3 other families who are going through the exact same as him and have accepted the plea deal as it means that they won't have to go through decades of drawn out appeals.

He needs to lay off this stuff 😞
Applying some common sense to the flight issue: The defense approached the State about a plea deal. Almost certainly, BK's parents were aware that a deal was possible and they may have (although we may never know) encouraged him to take it to spare their having to testify to, among other things, those phone calls after the murder. If they knew (in their hearts or their bones) that he is the killer, they may wanted him to plead guilty to avoid the firing squad.

Now, if they knew the plea deal was possible because the defense initiated it, they could have been told by the defense or BK themselves when to fly out. There is nothing nefarious here. On the other hand, even the judge didn't know until Monday so the prosecution side was buttoned up until they were sure of the deal. This is just my opinion but I think a commonsense one, not based on legal process but on how human beings on different sides of a dispute work.

That kind of sounds like a threat. Goncalves needs to get control of himself. BKs parents aren’t the guilty parties -leave them out of this.
Steve needs to be very careful, he sound like he is becoming unravelled and sounds threatening to me. He should leave BK’s parents out of this. They didn’t kill anyone and they are victims as well. Making comments like this is going to potentially land him in hot water. I understand his anger but let the anger be directed appropriately.

Arkay--prayers for you and your father---
Yes--before I lose the plot here, I'm sorry your dad is going through this. Prayers that the surgery goes well and is successful. Cancer is a b****.

Very possible and hopefully it's elaborated on at some point. I still stand by that he's very wrong for encouraging internet randoms to bombard and harass the judge and prosecution. I hope it hasn't come across that I am not validating SG's feelings and pain as that's far from the truth. That man is in literal hell and he has every right to feel robbed of the ideal justice he had in mind, I wish I could take away his pain, honestly. I just believe that he's on a very destructive path that could land him in some serious bother and nobody wants that 😞

He would still be angry over his daughter's death even if the death penalty was carried out. Those feelings don't just vanish.

Absolutely. I thought it was incredibly gracious of Maddie’s family to remember the firemen who were just murdered in Idaho.

Maddie really was the picture of her mother. I’m grateful that this family feels happy about the plea and that it gives them closure.

I’ve defended the Goncalves family from the start, as people have different personalities and this is how Steve is dealing with this unquenchable pain.

I can’t condone, though, an undercurrent of a threat to BK’s parents. It has to be remembered, even by Steve G., that the Kohberger parents haven’t killed anyone.

I figure he’s just so resentful that Bryan was ever even created, but no one thinks as they’re conceiving a child that they’re birthing a murderer.

JMO
And the whole [my paraphrase] "people coming from out of state to kill our kids" is offensive.

Question: When prosecutor was citing the evidence, did he say that Dylan saw Bryan carrying something, like a package or some other item? I thought I heard him say that but could be wrong.
You’re correct. I can’t remember the word he used - something like container or package maybe?
“holding some sort of container in his hand”

At approximately 4:05 that morning, Defendant’s car had entered that area, was leaving, stopped at the intersection of King and Queen Road, did a U-turn, and the State’s evidence would show that Defendant’s car came back and parked behind and above the 1122 King Road residence.

The State’s evidence would show that Xana Kernodle was still awake at this time—in fact, had taken a DoorDash order not long before this started. Her room was not on the third floor. It was on the second floor, on the west side.

At approximately 4:20 that morning, so this would have been 15 minutes or so later, the Defendant’s car is seen on a surveillance camera for 1112 King Road, which is immediately next door, to the west of 1122, leaving the area at a high rate of speed.

I dunno -- I look at the State's latest timeline and it sure gives more credence to the DD delivery person and BK parking near if not passing each other! JMO
