Tricia I very much respect you and everything you have done with this forum. I respect the mods you have chosen and the liberties, as well as restrictions, you have decided upon.

I have paid the costs of running a forum before, I've burned the midnight oil to keep the place running...I've played the pithy flame game with those who think they are "entitled" to destroy the peace in a forum or "run it themselves" when they wouldn't give one stinking dime of their money or hour of their time to do so. BUT...they are the "entitled." Oh the entitled...

No... this "ain't" your local "freedom of speech" place (people get a grip!) There is MUCH freedom to speak, but order is essential and I respect your right, Tricia, to keep the order. You are paying the tab! Aside from that you are VERY equitable in letting people share their thinking. Even so, if you let people "go off" at their will, with no order, NONE of us would want to be here.

Thank you Tricia for a job well done. I appreciate that you have some very strong feelings about some things. In one of my forums, I found myself in the same position and had to let everyone know it too.

Bravo Tricia, great job. I honor you for your work AND thank you for all that you give us all.

thanks for more sour grapes there wrinkles, its agood thing I didn't take my concerns to you. Just incase you ar anyone else cares, I have been a member a several forums and reading here since forever. It wasn't like I popped on her and thought I'd start stirring the waters and changing things, I know how a forum works. It wasn't until Tricia warned some people for the way they were expressing their opinion about one Mark Klaas that I noticed the double standard and thought I would ask Tricia about it. She gave me an answer on another forum and then thought she'd post it here for evryone to read just to get the info out.
So, those of you telling me to get of the kitchen because I can't take the heat, and those of you telling me this forum isn't about free speech (I believe those eloquent words about the 1st amendment were yours wrinkles)...I say I AINT GOING ANYWHERE! I was pointing out a rule breakage and Tricia set me straight that the Ramsey forum is different, period.
And wrinkles, I think tricia would highly debate you on thefact that Web sleuths is not about free speech......its ALL about free speech, its why it exists, its why we flock here, to talk about things and give our opinion.The whole dam& board is about free speech and exists because of it.....

If your child has been murdered and you are the prime suspect, you care a lot what the polygraph says. Innocent people do care, especially is they are accused and in a position to prove their innocence. It would be the first thing on your mind if you were falsely accused.

Yep, you are right, therefore I would have no concern as to what the results were because one could lock me up until the case was solved if that was what it took. Falsely accused, I would not care less! If one did nothing wrong, one has nothing to fear... bottom line. Prison or whatever if my child was murdered I would sit there until the bitter end if that was required!!! (U must not have children?!)

I don't pay the bills here, so I understand I got no say in the rules. But I think what upsets some of us, me included, is the absolute statement, "the Ramseys are murderers." I have no problem with those that believe the evidence points to the Ramseys. I have no problem with someone saying that "in their opinion" the Ramseys are............."

My issue lies in the absolute declarative statement without proof. Let's face it, if there was positive proof the Ramseys killed their daughter, John would already be tried, convicted and sentenced. :behindbar Since that hasn't happened, I can only conclude that in my opinion there is insufficient evidence to prosecute him or any other member of his family.

I would like to believe that Karr did it. I would like to believe that Mary Lacy has enough evidence to bring him to trial. But like everything else in this case, I have my doubts. No one has all the answers..........yet.

Pepper, after watching the debacle in Boulder concerning Karr you should have your answer.

The reason why the Ramseys have not been tried and convicted is because of the incompetent D.A.'s office.

Mary Lacy said early on that a "woman" couldn't do this. She has stuck to this opinion no matter what the evidence.

The truth is slowly coming out. Hopefully by the 10th anniversary we will have a better look into the Boulder D.A's office. If so, I promise you will see the most incompetent person to ever hold a job. You will see a good old boy network like none other.

Just because the Ramseys haven't been tried and convicted doesn't mean they are innocent. It just means there is total incompetence in the D.A's office.

Look, if I was limiting Free Speech I wouldn't allow any discussion about an intruder. Just like Susan Bennet does not allow any discussion about the Ramsey's guilt. However, I don't do that. I pretty much let this forum flow freely with a few exceptions.

The difference in this forum is I know some of the case players. I have seen what the Ramsey spin team has done to them. I am closer to this case than any others.

Here is the deal, I won't have anyone bring up the Fleet White pedophile crap on my forum. It's a lie and has been proven a lie. End of story.

I won't let people go on and on trashing someone I respect. Marc Klaas.

If someone wants to call John Ramsey a murderer so be it. He is a creep. I can't stand him. I base this on the facts that I know about him and what he and Patsy have done to innocent people. Like the White family.

That's it in a nutshell. No need to argue. If you fee the need to trash the Whites or Klaas you will be asked to do it elsewhere. End of story.
