In order to find the sex offenses in NV I had to do a nationwide criminal history - it doesn't come up in sex offender sites in Nevada...Looks like the offenses occurred in NV and were under Washington Court systems. Yikes...who would know?

Here in WA there is level I, II and III. All of them have to register but level I offenders won't be released to the public.

Yes yes! That is how it is done here, too. Perhaps all the states report that same way. Thanks for making that clear!

I've been really swamped the last few days and unable to do much more than just spot check the thread. I am in utter shock over what you guys have found! WOW! Only because we didn't find this sooner on other SO searches.

I'd also like to add to the comment that Momtective made about our fellow crime sleuthers at SM - that they are all looking for the same outcome - FIND LINDSEY BAUM! I looked at the thread a few days ago and feel they were also handling this POI with the same careful gloves as we were, under the circumstances. My hat's off to them as well.

I have to say that I am not surprised about CDG or DCG, whichever name. Oftentimes sexual predators were molested themselves. That would go for the dad, too! This shows how D*MN important it is to get HELP for the child. I'm even more angry about the mom who DID NOT get help for HER 13 year old daughter that was allegedly attacked by DG. That should ALSO be a CRIME!

I so agree with you Kimster and have been posting that very thought over there as well. All this brainpower and research talents working together, why I bet the Sheriffs office in Montesano is simply amazed.

I also wanted to give a big HELLO to our poster Coldcaseman. I see he is reading the forum and since he was an investigator with the GHSD, retiring in 2007, he can't really join in our convo. Heck, they're probably bouncing thoughts off him.

Thank you to the SM gang for getting a date on that offense for the dad. It was in 1996. This would explain why it didn't come up on the SO registries...as they mentioned, and I also know to be true, if you are not a Tier III and have kept your nose clean, you are no longer required to registered after ten years.

ACK. Never mind. Wrong thing. The date was for a collector's judgement and NOT for the SO offense.

Back to the drawing board.

I don't. Then every stupid offense would be on there...Like 18 year old BF who had consensual sex with his 16 yo GF and her daddy got mad and turned him in and now has to be a Tier I offender.....and there's even some with lesser charges. I'd really like to know what CDG did for this charge.

CRAP Momtective ... Now I see why I was having difficulty. The case info is "case specific" I'll try entering again.

Another thought, is the Baum family Jewish? We had mention of that camp, wondering if DG/CG work there? Would LB have attended? Something about the way the person in charge of DG at the camp (written in the PCA) was informal. Kind of like you would talk about a nephew or an employee's kid; i.e., That DG, he was goofing off again, sent him home to think about his actions. It was not a very "employer like" way of giving the facts IMO, KWIM?
