Or she had already taken the drug and then called hence her freaking out. Very good points!

All the eyewitnesses said that she was unsteady, fell down stairs. Would chime with being drugged.

That's a good call actually, I also wonder if whatever she did take (if anything) if was something like Fentanyl? Maybe she did die from a drug after running endlessly into the brambles. Again, just a thought.

Sorry I hit enter too soon on the above post.

I don’t think her being drugged necessarily means she wasn’t murdered.

Why do you think it’s a stupid thing to lie about? If they left Brewer’s property and it wasn’t to CVS then they likely went to buy drugs from another person, of course he would have lied about it!

Brewer has not claimed they went to CVS for cards and lube. In fact it was after Gilbert and Brewer returned that SG called MP to request those items.

Pak said they were gone 15 minutes. As you just said that it takes 40 minutes round trip, so unless Pak is lying there is no way they got to CVS. By contrast it’s a 2 minute drive from Brewer to Hackett’s. Which would fit perfectly with the timeline.

Regarding CVS. If she had taken a scrip there, even under a false name, a record would still remain. So I don’t think she went to CVS for a scrip. If she went there for other things - there was no real investigation into her disappearance for months. By the time SBPD got round to investigating it, nobody would have remembered and the tapes would be recorded over. We can’t be certain but I err to the side she didn’t visit CVS.

It’s not verifiable. The CVS was 40 mins round trip. They were gone for 15 minutes. Unless Shannan was an expert of teleportation they didn’t go there.

Not to get too wrapped up in who said what, a couple thoughts.
1) MP said they were gone 15 minutes, that is a estimate, he was not timing them, he was pre-occupied with his video game, who knows how much time elasped. Much like saying "I be back in five"
2)Why i suggested it was stupid to lie about going to CVS, is because that would be verifiable. A better lie would be we went to the dock to see a boat. Not verifiable.

15 minutes and 40 minutes aren’t comparable even when on the phone. His phone, the car will all have had clocks and he and Shannan traded several phone calls that night, so he had a reliable frame of reference in his phone. MP also says that the 15 minute drive happened 20 minutes after they arrived. It wasn’t later in the night (2:55) when the issue of CVS reared its head.

Also, if she had just returned from a trip to CVS, why would she have then needed to send MP up there for cards and lube? On top of that, she phoned CVS at 2:55, at least a couple of hours after the trip with Brewer. So that call is not evidence she intended to visit CVS.

Do you really think it would have been plausible from Brewer, in the middle of an escort date, when one or both were high, in the middle of the night, to suddenly decide to go see a boat and take Shannan with him? And Shannan who was terrified of water agreed? That doesn’t sound at all plausible to me.

Don’t forget either that nobody was really doing anything about SG at this point and the depositions were way in the future. By the time SCPD started getting their acts together and asking questions, any opportunity to check CVS cameras etc would have been long gone

My thought exactly:
I believe it was a “THRILL KILL GROUP” involving this group of privileged males!

Anyone notice in the interview with the escort who came forward alleging she slept with Officer Burke also called in an anonymous tip about a friend known to party with Officer Jimmy Burke. She wouldnt reveal who the friend was, until she accidentally used the name “Jimmy Brewer” name instead of Burke. Joe Brewer was Shannans john.

The tip was on Lindsay Henry, a Town of Babylon Councilmen who has a checkered past (domestic violence arrests) and happen to reside in New Bedford, MA in the late 80's when 11 women were murdered, many of them sex workers.

He's been discussed on these forums.

*record scratch*
Wait, what? Lindsay Henry resided in NB in the late 80s?
Is there a verified source about this? Did he grow up there?
He was at UMASS 1989-93 and got a BA in Ocean Science, are you saying he was at UMASS Dartmouth rather than, say, Amherst and that is a verified fact? Because if so the general area around UMASS Dartmouth was a dumping ground and that's a huge coincidence. He would have only been a teen/college kid then though, correct?

Can anyone clear this up?

Of course the eyewitnesses who made these statements were POI and the last people to see Shannan alive. As well both were quality up-standing individuals.

Dartmouth Oceanic in New Bedford. His father, Patrick, was Spota's boss in the DA's office before he became a NYS Supreme Court Justice...little Henry and Burke were best buds

The tip was made on Lindsay Henry, he was also the one that threw the party that Leanne met Burke at...his father Patrick was Spota's mentor...start with him, Burke, Brewer, Hackett and Pak and you will find not only SG killer but also GB4 killer...

Netflix is releasing a documentary on the New Bedford Highway killings, not sure when...Henry was there during the time of these murders, that's a verifiable fact.

She misspoke and quickly corrected herself. I wouldn't read into it

I don’t know anyone. It appears he was upfront with the police from what I have read and watched. He passed a lie detector test. He cooperated. I’m not sticking up for him as I think he is a total perp, but I do not think he killed her. Also, I’m on the victims side here. I don’t care what a victim does for a living, justice must be served.

He did not pass the polygraph. It was inconclusive and can be beaten very easily, that's why they're not admissible in a court of law. Side bar: Pak fell asleep 10 minutes into his polygraph and claimed to have passed, but his was inconclusive as well. It's speculated by some present for Pak's test that he drugged himself, why he fell asleep, to impact the results.
