More likely the date was going on longer than planned. Escorts are usually booked for a specific period of time, but if the client wanted to extend the session it would create a problem since SG's security (MP) would have been expecting her to leave at a specific time. So, she would have had to call him to let him know, otherwise he might have come kicking the door down. Maybe he wasnt too happy about having to wait around longer or whatever. So there could have been a back and forth bickering. Also, he might simply have not been answering the phone (asleep, no signal, whatever) and that may have been what the trigger for freaking her out.

Under the circumstances her calling him would not be that odd, but it was probably the start of her freaking out. You are assuming that was something the client was doing, but it just as easily could have been her becoming irrational.

What an excellent, rational observation! Thanks!

MysteryMom7 you state "As far as I can tell from what's been released (which is beyond bare minimum), he has been forthcoming to LE"

I am not sure how you could come to this conclusion? What has been released?

Based on what I read of MP's statements, he has stated the bare minimum. I drove her, I waited, she called me, I tried to bring her back home, she ran away.

MP has said nothing that had not been stated by other witnesses. He has added nothing new. MP could not very well contradict GC and JB, who saw him.

All MP's actions and behaviors that night can be viewed as innocent, logical, rational and noble if that is your desire.

Remember MP brought SG to Oak Beach and left with out her. That fact alone points to MP's involvement in SG's death on some level.

That quote is based on the info LE has put out, which is why I stated that it was bare minimum since LE hasn't publicly stated much on MP other than he was cleared and cooperated.

That doesn't make me believe he is innocent, but it also doesn't lead me to believe he is the SK, either, or even a prime suspect in SG's disappearance/death. JMHO

I came across this thread online. It may be closed because I couldn't quote it. It has a picture of MP that I hadn't seen before. Several posters commented that they didn't think he had a lazy eye. It seems they thought lazy eye meant wandering eye. I always thought lazy eye meant one that didn't want to stay open all the way! Clearly in my understood definition (right or wrong ) MP has a lazy eye! Now I'm not really sure what this lazy eye has to do with anything...other than some people were questioned about a man with a lazy eye. What if whoever described this man also thought that a lazy eye was one that was too lazy to stay open all the way? Just wondering

IIRC I thought it was mentioned that the "drifter" was the one with the "lazy eye", which responds slower and not as well as the "good" eye.

if the witness who saw a man with a lazy eye saw MP, wouldn't they say an Asian man with a lazy eye?

You'RE right... most people would. I wasn't saying he was the man. I was pointing out that people have different understandings of what a lazy eye is. It could be misinterpeted. Whoever "the man with the lazy eye" is, may not have a wandering eye, but a droopy eye and may not be recognizable by that description. I'm not even totally sure why people were asked about this man.

Do you know who the witness is?

Ray summarized the results of his investigators' talks with Oak Beach neighbors, saying Hackett said that Gilbert knocked on his door and he took her into his home, then immediately gave her narcotics to calm her down. Hackett also said to neighbors that it was "too late to help her" and he then released her to the care of her limo driver, the Gilbert family lawyer said.

I feel somewhat validated, as I had posted previously I felt there was a strong likely-hood that CPH and MP had met that night, that MP probably was the last to see SG alive, and MP returned days later to Oak Beach speak to CPH to about those events.

The only problem is that I cannot find where I posted my theory.

And no I am not boasting, because I know even a blind squirrel finds an acorn from time to time.

Go Mari!

If Shannan was running AWAY from Pak and expressing fear then why the hell would a doctor administer anything without calling the police and an ambulance, and on top of neglecting to report, give her back to the man she was running away from?

You are 100% right. GC and Miss B. called the police. Why didnt CPH? He said it was to late for her. What the hell does that mean? He lied from the beginning. Maybe he got SG mothers phone number from her phone and never handed her over to Pak. He might have been doing damage control early on so he doenst have to cover his but later on in the event her body was recovered. What will Pak say about this?

If that guy has any cash or credit, it is going towards a plane ticket right about now. Money is the only thing that would be holding him here right now.......if he had half a brain.

Justice, if the complaint is not filed against MP can he plead the fifth?

  • #438
IF CPH was involved, I belive he could have been the person JB and SG visted earlier that night without leaving Oak Beach, probably to get drugs?

I don't know. From what I read it sounds like he can. Don't take my word for it though. Maybe there is a lawyer here?
