Police raid 22 locations in Metro area for alleged marijuana trafficking

Detroit — A seven month investigation by federal, county and local police agencies have resulted in 22 raids Monday morning on sites allegedly involved in marijuana trafficking.

According to a press release from the Michigan State Police, the raids took place in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw and Jackson counties. The 22 locations included several private businesses, homes and four warehouses.

Police seized more than 500 marijuana plants, a large quantity of processed marijuana and several weapons. Police also arrested several individuals during the operation...

The police in Detroit should be focusing their attention elsewhere... like at gun violence or hard drugs.
