Police had been searching for Steve Stephens, of the Cleveland area, since Sunday.

Henry Sayers, a McDonald's employee tells our investigative team that Stephens rolled through the drive-thru and ordered a 20 piece Chicken McNuggets and basket of fries. Another example of why its important to include the public in searching for dangerous criminals. Share as much information as possible. Had the news about the Erie, PA ping not leaked, the alert witness may not have paid attention to the patrons at McDonalds.

That is a very odd interview given that your child has killed himself after committing murder. It is clear he was looking for help but she didn't understand how grave the situation was. She just seemed resigned to the fact that this was his fate.

Very sad and senseless tragedy.
We have no idea how many times he's said those things to her for money, sympathy, etc. At some point you're just being an enabler when you continue to give, listen, etc. I have a family member with addiction issues. Finally my grandmother did the same thing. She basically told him she's not bailing him out anymore, and don't ask her for anything again. I have no idea if this is the case here, or not. I can't pass judgment on this woman. I consider her to be a victim as well.

my 19 year old son is quite a drain on me. I love him to the end of the earth, but he makes poor choices time and again, and I hope he turns it around before having to learn the hard way.....

anyways, there is a quote in the movie "beaches" that accurately brings to mind my son and I... better midler is appealing to her mom after yet another shenanigan and she tells her, "I cant pay you any more attn...."

If she told news organizations that he was a mentally-disturbed 🤬🤬🤬, he could become more homicidal. Whether or not she believed he was a nice guy, she said the right thing to not incite him to further escalate.

I believe the Mom said he was a nice guy because that was how she knew him for three years and this was completely out of character for him. A neighbor interviewed last time he saw him shortly before this happened he was staying there with her three girls fixing up her garage.

I totally agree that she had probably had it with requests, his issues, and his drama. She also stated he owed her money. I had implied that in a previous post. In her interview, she says that he was talking about never seeing him again. It stuck with her for some reason. I think the reason might be because he hadn't quite said that before. In any event, I support people who draw lines for those who are dealing with addictions. Mental illness is an issue we need to have a national strategy for, IMHO.

Are you thinking she's happy? Not sad enough? Not affected at all? What were your impressions?

I'm still trying to find video. The one linked doesn't work right now. But I will say, the media tends to be pretty intrusive in these situations. I understand that it's their job. But this woman has been through a hellish whirlwind over the last 2 days, and who knows what before that. So I don't really have any particular expectations for her affect in front of a bunch of cameras. Especially less than an hour after her son shot himself in the head, after he murdered an innocent man in cold blood, and it's been all over the media. The enormity of the situation is just unfathomable to me. I'd probably need to be medicated.

Does anyone have a link to the Moms interview?

Here are the locations he referenced. I really want to know more about the additional bodies thing. Cops have no info and are just saying no other deaths reported. He was very specific when he gave locations and they are all abandoned houses. That's intent - take people there to execute them or dump bodies after the fact intent.

1.) 108th and Cedar - abandoned house - few people
2.) Eddy Road - purple and gold church - - abandoned house - few people
3.) 42nd st (?) and Payne Ave - there is no 42nd st off of Payne - skips from 41 to 43

1.) This house was pretty easy to find at 108th and Cedar. Go into Google Street view and just start looking in the area and you can see it.

2.) On Eddy road there are a limited number of churches. Two of them have purple and gold looking stained glass. The first one is the Christ Temple Apostolic Church. It has an abandoned building just up the street near it. No obvious abandoned houses right in front or on the sides.

If you keep using Street view to go up the road past the abandoned building for several blocks you run into another church that has purple and gold in it's windows and a house that might be abandoned at the corner of it's block.

I'll post the Payne Ave research in a few

Re-watched this video (Video #1). Toward the end is where he states location and a declaration where he supposedly has "people".

Here is a screen cap of the first location which is 108 & Cedar. He states an abandoned house in this area?

Next he mentions a the church is off 80 Road? No luck so far in my search for Purple & Gold Churches in the Cleveland area. Can't find an 80 Road. There is one church I can find on 80th Street? It is St. Lawrence Church which is permanently closed. Again he says there is an abandoned house there.

Last he says 42nd & Payne. He has somebody there. As far as I could see there is No such location as a 42nd & Payne?

[h=3]Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg: 'Our hearts go out to the family of Robert Godwin, Sr.'[/h]Tuesday, April 18th 2017, 2:17 pm EDTTuesday, April 18th 2017, 2:17 pm EDT

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spoke at Tuesday's F8 developer conference. During the summit, Zuckerberg acknowledged Sunday's tragic incident in Cleveland. Steve Stephens used Facebook to share a video of himself randomly shooting and killing 74-year-old Robert Godwin, Sr.
Zuckerberg highlighted several upcoming Facebook developments, but he also expressed his condolences to Godwin, Sr. and his family. He said, "We have a full road map of products to help build groups a community, help build a more informed society, help keep our communities safe, and we have a lot more to do here. We are reminded of this, this week, by the tragedy in Cleveland. And our hearts go out to the family and friends of Robert Godwin Sr., and we have a lot of work and we will keep doing all we can to prevent tragedies like this from happening.”
Zucerkberg's full presentation is attached below. The reference to Cleveland begins around the 4:05 mark.

I had to delete your images above in order to post these next few.

3.) I searched Payne Ave and went the length of it. there is no 42nd st off of Payne - skips from 41 to 43. So, maybe his mind was slipping on the street name. There is another 42nd E and W in Cleveland but I didn't check into it as I was working off of Payne. Best lead. Looked all over for abandoned buildings off of 41st and 43rd streets. Found two possible without going too far down either street. Mostly industrial and warehouses there. There are a couple of old buildings that might qualify as well. I think these are off of 41st and Payne. 1616 E 41st Street is the Yellow looking one. The other is 1598 E 41st.

I'm also curious as to his other claims. Ah! It was Eddie Rd. & not 80. That makes more sense. Great find!

c.o.w.a.r.d.

I totally agree with this sentiment however I'm so thankful that he didn't try to prove he was a "big man" and put up a fight possibly injuring LE or innocent bystanders in the process.

 • #796
I hope they really go check those buildings. There have been bodies found in other abounded houses there fairly recently.

Remember, Ariel Castro held three girls in his house in Cleveland for many years. Confidence doesn't run high with Cleveland police in many people's minds.

Was just reading the updated article. They have more information in it now. Looks like SS never got his Fries

"In an interview with GoErie.com, the McDonald's manager later reported that while calling 9-1-1, workers told Stephens they were waiting for his fries and he'd have to wait a moment. Stephens said he didn't have time, and left the restaurant drive-thru without them."
