Maybe he buried something within view of the neighbours just so it seemed more innocent? They might have just thought he was doing work on the farm (IMO to dig that deep he used some kind of machinery). Or maybe he was not in his right mind for whatever reason (drugs?) and wasn't really paying attention to where he was burying it. It's hard to justify the actions of someone who would do the horrendous things DM is accused of...

My initial thought about what lead Toronto LE to the farm was that a neighbour remembered seeing something a while back that in hindsight, seemed suspicious. I really don't think DM or MS are talking.

I think you're second paragraph, is SPOT ON! I doubt their squealing. I think suspect #3 is (if he's still alive), or neighbours are now calling in suspicions.

The Police could have found it on their own, as you can see the patches weren't covered with grass (there's another one in the photo, where it's just dirt). Maybe they used the radar and it picked something up? With no grass covering, it could have been easy to guess what could be under there...

This is the link to "google Maps" of the North Dumfries property. Google maps took the pics of my area in 2010. Not sure when they did it here. You can scroll around. Makes me wonder if DM owned the farm at this time or not.

I know when he purchased the property. What I don't know is when the google maps imaging was done.

Apologies, I read your post wrong. In the link you provided, if you look at the bottom left hand corner of the screen, it shows the date the image was taken - April 2009.

No poblem.

I also noticed that Google Earth has an image where it does look like somethig is where they are currently digging. Can't tell if it is trees or fresh grass/dirt. I also don't know when it as taken.

Interesting none the less. There are also tire tracks going from this and behind the neighbouring property. Is there a dirt road back there?

I can't link it. I think you need google earth.

respectfully snipped
Don't mean to go off topic, but this relates to the search of the Waterloo Hanger, so it's sort of in-keeping with the search stuff....hope i don't get in trouble ;)

The MSM sources all seem to have gone quiet the last couple of hours. I wonder if they found something in that hole...that or they were all on lunch ;)

Third hole being dug

Wonder why the hole on the right hand side seems to have three separate compartments?

Police have filled in the holes they created at Dellen Millard's farm, said they can't comment on what, if anything, they found.
