I agree that it's doubtful that LE was trying to frame Debbie with that quote. The main reason being that it wouldn't work. No, I think that there is a more believable reason.
What do you think is the "more believable reason?"

In the same article Elley Mae and RANCH have linked above, Tacopina says, "That's just not good investigatory tactics and it doesn't build good faith in them."
I think this perspective is a bit backwards. I believe Debbie Bradley, who had sole responsibility for the care and safety of her children, was self-proclaimed drunk on duty and claims she was told she failed a poly is the one who should be trying to build good faith with LE. Not the other way around.
It is not LEs fault that Debbie Bradley's actions seem to cast some suspicion on her. They would be careless if they didn't make an effort to clear her in order to move forward and concentrate on other possibilities with more information and manpower. She is the key to doing that. It is her choice to refuse to cooperate on the level that they need. We can't know exactly why this is her priority but we, who wonder can't be criticized either, for thinking that it appears that it is for her own protection ~ and not in the best interest of Baby Lisa.
Building good faith? Yes, but Debbie Bradley is the one, imo, who needs to get busy ~ not LE.

"Sometimes what happens when the parent was involved, the death wasn't intentional but involved a kind of serious negligence," he said. "The responsible parent is so ashamed and maybe ashamed toward the spouse that they decide to dispose of the body and then report it as a missing child."
Once the spotlight focuses on parental wrongdoing, the public perception is this is a murder.
I am leaning to negligence, and this to me is why she failed the LDT.
As is mine.

Some might consider what DB did to be even worse than Casey. When Casey did it, she didn't have a child to be responsible for because Caylee was already gone. Deb, on the other hand, had two young boys in the house that she didn't tend to while she was out on the steps drinking. And then, according to her, she was so drunk that she passed out. Both mothers, in my opinion, are deplorable.
Resp. BBM = We don't know that. We don't know that they weren't fed, bathed and in pj's ready to watch a movie and fall asleep. We don't know that Deb didn't make them a snack or get them a drink. Some people believe she did not see any of her children from the time she sat out front and had her first glass of wine, but personally I believe there WAS interaction with the children. Snacks given, drinks poured etc.. It was still early enough that the boys and SB's little girl could have been playing outside. There is definitely more that we don't know in this case, then in what we do know.
People have taken a shred of information and created a caftan ~ including me imho. Everything that someone says for or against a point, can mostly be just as logically argued the other way, because we don't know. I wish we knew more. I wish that I didn't see the entire picture as a situation that so many people could write with different outcomes.
Some will be right and some will be wrong ~ but with my opinion right now, if the outcome is different, I'll feel better about being wrong than if I had a different opinion and was proven wrong.
I see all sides right now, but we are all saying that we 'think' certain things happened, because we have just enough info to be able to justify our thoughts, but not enough info to be 110% sure.
Sorry for the rant...I think reading about all these children going missing is just giving me the creeps, because no matter who the 'bad guy' is, the fact that there is one makes me ill. I would rather in my heart, mind and soul, be somewhat supportive of any parent, unless there is some serious signs. I know it happens, I know the stats, but that doesn't make it 100% in every case.
Hoping and praying for a Christmas Miracle ~ that Lisa and Ayla and Sky and all the innocent, sweet babies are safe and secure, that they are found so that there can be closure for so many, one way or another.
Merry Christmas to all of you ~ I hope you have a Safe and Happy 2012!!

Not according to the neighbor Sean, that was supposedly sitting outside with them for much of the evening. He said that [ correct me if I am wrong] he never saw any of the kids and did not see her go inside the house while he was there either. He also said he did not see them drinking, so was she really even drunk?
Respectfully...I am NOT one of those people who takes a shred of evidence and creates a caftan. I am very careful about what I say and how I say it and because of my own past experience, I do not jump to any conclusions. I take the information that is given to me and make my own decision. I was one of DB's biggest supporters in the beginning, so it's not like I am some renegade out there just grasping at straws. I believe the information that we learned from the neighbor was that he never saw the children and never saw DB tend to them.
I am not insisting I am right, and I'd like nothing more than for Lisa to come home, but I would prefer not being put into a pre-conceived category just because I have expressed my opinion.
Shane's relatives live in the area, and I think I read that he recently moved in with them.Wasn't there something about Shane being a new neighbor, or did I imagine that? If he's new he wouldn't have had the opportunity to observe whose kids were out and whose weren't.
I am not understanding how innocent parents can just sit around month after month, not saying a word, while their baby is missing and according to them, stolen. It really does appear that they are simply carrying on with their lives, something very hard for me to fathom. I can't imagine doing anything that did not involve being at the police station nonsop, personally, even if alternating with my husband so someone was there with the other kids. JMO
