Police say parents are not answering vital questions #3

  • #861
I guess I'm not understanding. So if the parents had already done 50 separate interviews and the police wanted them to come in again for another interview, they shouldn't be expected to b/c they've already done separate interviews? Who cares how many times, how many hours they've talked to LE, it's their daughter! I don't understand why any parent wouldn't submit to a million interviews if it meant the police possibly being able to find their child.

What if the police could just ask them tons and tons of questions and it jogs the memory of DB or JI and they finally remember some minor detail that brings their daughter home? Nope not worth the bother of talking to the police.

MOO

Sounds great, but why do they need them seperate for that?

They have only spoken to LE one time- separately. Then they became uncomfortable.

And what of little Lisa? Is she comfortable, uncomfortable??

It's sad that these parents put their own comfort above that of their missing baby.

It's their child. If the police asked them to hang upside down wearing purple pants and a green shirt, why shouldn't they do it?

I have no idea what the police want to ask them separately, but it's not like they are asking them to submit to something that takes much effort. If it brings Lisa home, why not try?

Police probably do have some questions to ask. Do bad they alienated the people that they wish to ask these questions. MOO.

yeah, too bad for their daughter. I hope she'll have justice soon.

OMG! another complaint about LE and saying it is LE's fault. It is LE's fault that they haven't found Lisa! I guess if you want to place blame and hate Law Enforcement, that's the way you go.

LE is not the bad guy here! They are the ones who put their lives at stake every day. They are the ones putting in time (many of their own time) to find a missing child

The strange phenomena is that the ones who complain about LE are the first on the phone to LE when they perceive danger or wrongdoing. Then they want their help.

I'll ask again, how is this relevant in the off chance (as some refuse to even consider) that they are innocent of wrongdoing? How is interviewing them seperate going to be any more beneficial to them them interviewing them together?

You're only looking at the 'not wanting to be interviewed seperate' from a guilty angle.

I'm also looking at their zeal to whine, complain and sensationalize their daughter in the national media.

People are counting the morning these parents told LE about Lisa missing an interview. That is a reporting. Responding officers don't ask too many questions at that time. It is later when an invetigator is called in. These two have won the award for the fastest couple to lawyer up in the world of stolen babies. The poly was given on the second day to DB. As soon as she heard she failed, she showed up with a Law Professor at the next meeting. She's been running scared ever since.

The amount of defending and making excuses for parents who use drugs and/or drink alcohol and lose their children is real hard to comprehend.

It appears DB has total control of JI. She is a married to another man, has a baby with JI, drinks heavily and loses her child. He goes along with w/e she says. He is not man enough to stand up for his little baby? Maybe DB isn't the one who harmed Lisa, maybe we should be looking at JI?

drug/alcohol issues Deborah has admitted to drinking; they have her on vid purchasing wine w/her brother.

debts This would be very easily verified w/the tax office in Liberty, MO. Are taxes owed on vehicles/house/etc.

relationship issues Deborah's inlaw's, Jeremy's parents and 1st husband's parents spoke highly of her; Baby Lisa's grandparents still stand behind her.

household dynamics 2 parents, 3 children and extended family; no skeletons there.

enemies Remember the list of names Jeremy and Deborah gave LE in the beginning?

suspicions See above comment.

I'm pretty sure cops would like the answers to come directly from the parents.

You don't know what skeletons they have and neither do I but I'm betting it is significant and that's why they won't answer questions separately. And that's really okay with me. In the end, the punishment will be that much worse.

Because that would be a total waste of time and not in any way shape or form help find Lisa.

So DB & JI got butt hurt and stormed off, LE is to blame for alienating them. I don't get this line of reasoning. Sure it sucks to be accused of killing your child, but if Lisa was really kidnapped, that's gotta suck so much more. Right?

Even if LE did something terribly wrong, mean, hurtful; at least they are trying to solve this case.

And what they ARE doing, is helping find Lisa?

You're right. The parents have made it clear they don't wish to help find Lisa.

I'm not even convinced of the parents guilt, but I think their innocence would be a lot more convincing if the police could rule them out as potential suspects.

I don't see police ruling them out as potential suspects unless they arrest someone else.

Well 4 months of their strategy = no Lisa. Why not try the LE's strategy for a bit?

What is LE's strategy. Have them come in for separate interrogations and have one of them point the finger at the other? Not going to happen.

  • #879
It is too late now for Lisa and to interview them. They have been coached and they present a solid front, not wanting to leave each other's side. My guess is out of fear. together they are strong, apart they are weak.

They needed to get these two in the first week...and break them down. Yes, I said break them down. That is the way you do it. LE did it with that girl across town, she broke and told them where she put the baby.

DB has followed missing childrens' cases; she knows the deal. She is controlling JI. If JI is not involved in his daughter's death, he is in a world of doo. If he were not involved, though, he would want answers. In the world of love and logic, he would want answers. In his world, he seeks something else.

This case is going the same way the misty croslin/ronald cumnings couple did it. He married the perp a month after Haleigh vanished. Marrying the "KEY" to his daughter's whereabouts?? Wrong on so many levels. We see this with Jeremy. Some men are just plain "Stupid" when it comes to a woman.

I think LE's strategy will be to indict them both.
