So your saying that it's probably not a good idea for DB/JI to talk to the police at this time?
I think the ship of good ideas has long sailed.

And the attorneys are allowing them to go on national tv why then?
To get himself on tv?

Good question? I'm still trying to figure out what they are going to say that will help get them convicted.
What if the jury judges them credible and that they had no involvement? Any jury will have far more information than we have, I would hope. And look how mixed it is here with what little we have. And again, they are being said by LE as cooperating, ONLY not coming in separately and Dr. Phil is not a cable celebrity. He is on free airwaves, therefore more coverage everywhere.the public and any future jury can use it to judge their credibility and form an opinion about their involvement. Innocence is a fairly simple concept to convey. Parents who are innocent usually continue to cooperate with police and prioritize police over a cable celebrity.

People are counting the morning these parents told LE about Lisa missing an interview. That is a reporting. Responding officers don't ask too many questions at that time. It is later when an invetigator is called in. These two have won the award for the fastest couple to lawyer up in the world of stolen babies. The poly was given on the second day to DB. As soon as she heard she failed, she showed up with a Law Professor at the next meeting. She's been running scared ever since.
The amount of defending and making excuses for parents who use drugs and/or drink alcohol and lose their children is real hard to comprehend.
It appears DB has total control of JI. She is a married to another man, has a baby with JI, drinks heavily and loses her child. He goes along with w/e she says. He is not man enough to stand up for his little baby? Maybe DB isn't the one who harmed Lisa, maybe we should be looking at JI?
I think that a jury would be more inclined to have incriminating statements made to LE carry more weight than anything said to a talk show host. Your convincing me that it's too dangerous to cooperate with and participate in any further police interrogations. MOO.the public and any future jury can use it to judge their credibility and form an opinion about their involvement. Innocence is a fairly simple concept to convey. The parents lived in the house so whether it was now or later is irrelevant. A search warrant helps preserve the chain of custody. Scott Peterson allowed his house to be searched and LE returned later with a search warrant and seized items. People think cops are finished and they move items or get lax. Cops swoop back in. Christopher Edwards was convicted of Jessica O'Grady's murder even though her body was never found. A second search of his bedroom turned up a sword the jury concluded was the murder weapon because of all the blood evidence. There is one thing of which I am certain and that is that the collective KCPD and FBI are smarter than their un-named suspects.

And from that search warrant, they only took 7 items from a 17 hour search. No beds, furniture, cribs, flooring etc on which a possibly dead baby would be laying on.BBM
So, following this bit of logic; KCMOPD got a search warrant, they searched the house on Lister. Where are the indictments? Where are the arrests?
Jeremy and Lisa haven't moved out in the dark of night; they are still on Lister, going to work and taking the boys to school. They aren't hiding and the house is still there so that KCMOPD can come back.

Well that is too late for a jury to use as evidence on a conviction then as the penalty phase is AFTER a conviction has already been had. And what if the conviction is against somebody other than the parents, what then?Making comments to a talk show host after making incriminating comments to LE would pretty much would seal the deal for most jurors. Cooperation with LE is usually taken into consideration in the penalty phase.
JMO
LE isn't even searching anymore and haven't been for a long time. Even before the last time the parents and LE are filmed together. What is the hurry? I think LE will give it a few more weeks or months until they locate Lisa's whereabouts.
JMO
Babies, even dead ones, could be laying on a blanket on top of a bed or floor, could they not? Did they seize any type of blanket/spread? I think they did.

YEP! LE left them up right where THEY put them for the parents to remove. And to add to your list, no nasty black garbage bags from the windows :great:
