Police Surround Clark in Cromwell hotel room; Countdown to Arrest 3..2..1

  • #341
You bet, no names used.

I got the man at the front desk, a middle aged man I think.

I said I'm calling from Oregon and am a gal who is following Annie's case. I've heard you have a lot of officers parked out in your lot waiting to make an arrest in her case.

He kind of stuttered, and I was about to say something more when he said, Uh, well you can surmise that. And I said do you mean that my surmisal is correct? And he said, well yes.

Then I said I am sure the people in other rooms understand what is going on and it will be over soon.

He said, well, it is really quite confusing right now. And then he said it is such a sad thing about Annie, and I agreed, saying it was unbelievable.

Then he said You know, I feel so bad about Conneticut. I said I don't think this reflects at all on the State of Conneticut. He said Yes it does. He said he had lived right there in that area all of his life and it is changing and not in a good way.

Again I said I hoped this would be resolved soon as I knew the officers had been there since about 4 hours now. He said I don't know as everything is so confusing right now.

I thanked him for his conversation, and he said that's just fine and we hung up.

xox

You didn't offer him a latte?

Thanks Scandi...you gave me my second wind to try to stay up another hour!

Gosh, scandi, you have me on the edge of my seat.

Somebody post something! I feel all alone now!

Hi Cleo, It was short but sweet. I learned what I really wanted to know, and a bit more. Yes, there are a lot of cop cars sitting out in their lot waiting to make an arrest. Confusion abounds which is troubling to the hotel staff. He has no idea when the bust will go down IMO as it is a wait and hold situation.

You know you need rehab because you get corpol tunnel from hitting refresh, and you are down to an hour of sleep a night. WS needs a support group for addicts.

Yes, so true! Add to it...sitting quietly in my study with headphones plugged in listening to the online scanner--and jumping everytime I hear something come across--- and trying not to wake the rest of the house...all signs of a WS addict! LOL

Takes too much energy...so I do "sitdown" instead. I "perform" here 7 days a week. ;) (Especially on stake outs!)

You know you think this intense waiting he would just go on out there with his hands up and turn himself in, its not like they are going to go away.

Puffster is online, over in the 'arrest countdown' thread!

I was told he has to wait until his arrest, which depends on the judge etc-might be wrong

Yeah, I'm seeing that, too. Same headline. (I'm going to have it memorized by the time he's actually arrested.)

oh ok, it's what I can see too

can you see twitters of people who are there?

I only searched for "New Haven" profiles, and the most relevant I got was the news feeds. I'm following the New Haven Independent, but the updates may hit the website before they hit Twitter.
