Interesting information in the comments section of this article (sorry in advance if it's already been posted):

"he went to lyman hall in wallingford ct also"

"He went to BHS for ONE year!"

"Actually he wasn't a member of Asian Awareness, he jumped the photo the dat the picture was taken. Now we have reporters calling since our kid is in the photo near him, trying to get comments and an interview off the record- yeah right.. Thanks for quality reporting and not finding out the facts before you post this stuff.."

"...all buffed out----how bout steroid rage?"

You know what would be really ironic...

...if RC someday suffers from the very same diseases Annie Le was working to treat and cure.

Late Night Laugh...

From Twitter:

kimberlyveyea: RT Yale student Annie Le died of traumatic asphyxiation, when is asphyxiation not traumatic?

(Is this joke in poor taste?? I thought it was funny because of the unintended repetition. Please let me know, and I'll delete the quote. Apologies in advanced.)

Hi Ailina, I'm too tired to laugh but it was a good play on words.

I thought traumatic asphyxiation sounded more involved than strangulation. Like it was done slowly to keep her alive but just barely, and not enough to break the hyoid bone. I so hope that is not true. xox

Thank you for the reassurance, Scandi. :) Actually, I'm too tired to laugh, too. I let my fangers laugh for me. :D

I hope it's not true, either. As far as I'm concerned, I think the whole thing took place rather quickly. I think RC's rage is like that -- like a Roman candle: burns slowly, then ignites and takes off with no restraint. Hopefully, Annie didn't suffer.

"Traumatic Asphyxiation is usually used to refer to someone who has been pinned or crushed by a heavy weight. Traumatic Asphyxia is usually referring to a form of compressive asphyxia which occurs when a persons chest is compressed. This usually occurs when people pile on one another, putting their combined weight on the victim, such as during an accident or when trying to escape a dangerous situation."

I just have this constant niggling that something's 'not right' in this case. Perhaps that things aren't exactly as they seem, or that there's majorly important stuff we don't know. Gut feeling.

Hi Niff, Do you mean like there is another person involved. And maybe that person is not at the motel with him and they are going to make simultaneous arrests? I have heard of that being done before. xox

Saw this on Twitter:

StevenRosenbaum Assignment Desk Update: Crews in place. Annie Le Murder coverage on News Channel 8 http://bit.ly/oWz7X via @addthis www.wtnh.com

Not sure what "crews" he's referring to (either the news crew or LE), but maybe something's about to happen?

Thanks Trino, That deserves a big thank you. I thought it sounded like more than regular strangulation.

I wonder if he sat on her chest? Did you read the ME report said TOD was as late as 4pm? I have wondered if she was actually dead when he put her down, dropped her I think from above, into that chase. Just thinkin and IMO It also could be he dropped something heavy down on top of her which might have the same effect. xox

Hi Ailina, I think it would be news crew and police or LE force, right? I don't know, but I bet the cameras are up. If they get a good photo the journo will be able to sell it and make beaucoup bucks I think. GREAT CATCH BTW

Maybe something is about to happen. I heard on MSNBC the same thing just now that an arrest is expected in the morning. That is so bizarre to keep these officers on site all night like that unless there is something we don't know about, like a dual arrest. The dual part of it, or accomplice, might be what the hold up is to get all that paperwork in order and to the judge with the other warrant. Makes sense to me.

Gosh, maybe after he killed her he told his fiance J that he did it for her as he loved her so much and she fell for it. So he suckered her into helping him hide the body and then he didn't come thru for her. By Thursday she realized this and wrote that message on her MySpace. That is a possibility maybe.

I am getting rummy,. One St Pauli Girl and some Cheetos and I'm about ready for bed myself. lol So I hope what I said makes sense. xox

This is something that has been worrying me but I didn't want to say it, it's so horrible. I have just hoped to the heavens that she wasn't still alive when she was put in there and died alone in that wall. OMG, I just can't stand the thought of that.

I speculate the emails he sent Annie about the mice was simply to get her attention. Negative attention is better than no attention, in a stalker's mind. He probably joined the Asian Awareness group to impress her. Seems like he wanted her to notice him, and the fact that her wedding was so close...He was angry at her for not wanting or noticing him. JMO

I'm on page 3 of this thread so I'm sorry if this has already been said ...
I'm pretty sure the Asian Awareness group he belonged to was back in High School, long before Le was in the picture. I "may" be wrong so please don't shoot. ;)

I was shocked to find this thread had exploded overnight. When I went to bed it was 1 or 2 pages long and now it's 19 pages.
Does anyone around here sleep?

A previous poster with more knowledge of his h.s days stated he did not belong to the Asian Club at all - just jumped in the picture. Also, he and A went to h.s. in different parts of the US, so belonging to such a club (if he did so) would not have been relevant.

OMG, but thank you Ailina. That is another 40 min. And then do they have to drive the warrant up to the motel and serve it in person? That is what I have always seen on TV shows. LOL It could be another couple of hours till he is in custody, right? Think I'll lay down and rest my eyes for a bit. xox

Me, too. Half an hour to go before presser. TV on, pillow on couch, alarm set (twice!)!
