Police trying to help dying toddler is stabbed by mother

Police responding to a 911 call find a dying toddler and when they tried to help the child her the mother stabbed 2 of the officers. She then had to be tased and after that failed shot. The child died, mother still in hospital. Mother had "mental issues" and the father (ex husband) petitioned the court for emergency custody and got it on Friday, which he took to the police immediately upon receiving it, but the mother refused to hand over the chid and nothing was done. The next day, Saturday, this happened. It is being investigated as a homicide.
